The building looks old but it's nice and welcoming inside! The guesthouse is very near the city centre and you can easily walk or get a bus- the bus stop is just outside the building and the bus drivers are really helpful!!! There is a nice park and river in a three minutes walking and the university is just in...

I stayed in the Redclyffe over the weekend. House is very dated & could really do with a bit of a makeover. The room we stayed in was quite small for a double in comparison to other B&Bs I have stayed in. Other than that the place was immaculate which is a big factor for me and also the room...

Stayed at the Redclyffe for 4nights over New Years Eve (2012/13). It's about a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of the city. Others have commentede on the dated decor but I chose to find it charming. Wifi was reasonably good and the breakfast was as well. The proprietor is a man of few words but was very helpful when...

I stayed here recently and found the room to be perfectly clean, with a nice comfortable bed and decent shower. The owners are friendly and they do an ok breakfast. Not much else to say about this guest house but I would recommend staying here if you are in cork!

Stayed 2 nights with my partner for her daughters graduation. Situated close to Uni and city centre, so within walking distance of all cork has to offer. Room was OK, Bed and furnishing getting a little bit old. Strangely there was a plastic sheet under the bed! Breakfast was only just acceptable, not the huge, tasty fry up I was...

It's so disappointing to have to write these reviews...but it has to be done because I would want to read this as we rely on TA so much. We were disappointed in our decision to stay in this B&B. The staff is cordial, but not over accommodating or welcoming. As my husband said "It's like a Motel 6, but at...

I stayed two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. My single room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Mick, the owner, was fantastic and full of Irish charm. The breakfasts were plentiful and filling and kept me going all day. I would highly recommend staying here. And Mick is an absolute classic!
