I visited this weekend for a lad's trip to Cork. We paid £25 each per night (£50 a night for a twin), and for that money i view anything more than a bed and a shower is a bonus! The guest house was in a good location about 15 minutes out of town and the area was nice and quiet....

We arrived with our motorcycles and had a lot of parking space. The lady of the reception was very confused. She couldn't remember if we had paid (via Booking.com). The room was very small and the bathroom even too small for my husband who is 1m90. But I need to say the breakfast was very good and the staff in...

Terrible! I booked this place through hotels.com. I arrived with my confirmed booking only to be told they didn't have a room. So the woman has me follow her down the street and wait while she asks at another B & B (that they supposedly also run) if they had a room (they didn't). Then on to another B &...

I stayed here while attending a two-day conference, and was very impressed at the warm welcome I received from the owner and her staff member who served breakfast. The room was comfortable, minimalist (which I like) and had nice toiletries. I still remember the breakfast... My other half enjoyed his scrambled eggs, while I had tasty syrup pancakes with a...

I stayed in the Killarney Guesthouse last week for two nights and I must say that everything was very good. I didn't have a booking so I just walked in and I was treated so well! I must say that the staff were really nice and helpful. The guestouse is pretty simple and the rooms have nothing special but if...

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the facilities left something to be desired. Our room wasn't the cleanest, there was no proper door on the bathroom, and there was no hot water in the shower in the morning (had heard someone else complain about this the night before on our arrival, but I guess it wasn't addressed). Aside...

The staff at Killarney Guest House is very friendly and welcoming and serve you tea and biscuits on arrival, which we appreciated very much. The room, however, was very small and the strength of the water supply in the shower not very good. The breakfast was fabulous, a great variety in the buffet and you could have as much as...

Booked this guest house through the tourist board on the main street in Cork. The tourist officer phoned Killarney and the girl said she would have the kettle on for us.When we arrived (2 couples) the tea was made and lovely home baking ready for us. Credit card was asked for only when we left. We booked for one night...
