Spent 2 nights in this B&B just recently as we were in Cork to attend a Birthday Party. Very welcoming - Martin was most helpful to us with directions - even came to get us when we were "lost". Safe secure parking - Martin even parks your car. Room was basic but clean and bed was comfortable. My husband enjoyed...

I wanted a quiet, friendly place for my brief stay in Cork City, and this was ideal. Martin and Margaret are gracious hosts and see to it that you have a hearty breakfast and everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Martin is quite the historian and, if you like Irish history, just ask him a few questions and...

Martin and Margaret are wonderful people who gave such a warm welcome in to their home. Martin was a wealth of information on the local history. He was such a pleasure to sit and chat with. If you are looking for the true Irish hospitality, this is the place to stay.

Received a warm welcome from Margaret and a much needed cup of tea and friendly conversation. The room was clean, but basic and no frills. That being said, the location is excellent and if a a quiet, peaceful sleep is what you are looking for, then I would recommend staying here.

My colleagues recommended this B&B, so I decide to let my parents stay there for 4 nights. They enjoy a lot! The owner is a lovely Irish couple that enjoy to meet new people and new culture, giving you a lot of information about Cork and Ireland and what to visit, but giving you also your privacy. The room is...

Recently stayed here with 3 of my friends whilst visiting Cork City. Martin the owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome. He has great knowledge of the area and historical stories. Located in a great area, easy walk to the centre of town. Highly recommended.

Just to meet the lovely couple Martin and Margaret and their energy, their smile, and their stories... you should go :) My dad stayed for the weekend, it's 5 min walk from the city centre so, just enough not to have the noise and the buzz of the city at night.. A little bit uphill so you get the chance...

My husband and I stayed at the Butter Market House Bed and Breakfast for one night in July. Martin is the perfect Irish gentleman and host... we were enchanted with him as he told us the mythology about how "The Rock of Cashel" was created. Choose to stay in this bed and breakfast for the great view from the front...
