Great location close to city center! Very friendly staff willing to help you with all the information. During the night i was able to hear music from the bar on the second floor but not so loud that I couldn't sleep. It was fun stay. And it's really cheap too. Only thing that i had problem with is internet connection which...

The four bed dorm we stayed in was nice and clean as well as the bathroom. The kitchen area and common area was also clean but small. The bar downstairs creates a convenient place to have a drink before bed. However, if you plan to have any sleep on any of the nights during the week then don't stay here!...

I often travel alone and I ve tried every single hostel in Cork. Bru hostel is the only one were i did not feel alone, thanks to the cosy atmosphere in the common areas, nice staff and friendly people that made my stay really enjoyable. My room was clean and since I was on the third floor I did not...

The best parts about this hostel are the value, location and on site bar but the rooms are pretty shocking, we had a private three bed room for one night. As we entered a damp musky smell was lingering, minimal decor and looked very dated. The bathroom was a mess the lower part of the shower curtain was black and...

I was in this B&B some time ago. Excellent location not so far from the centre. The landlady was very kind and helpful. Rooms were little, but nice. It is possible to use the kitchen, well organized. Finally, I met up with very interesting people in that place. I've really good rememberings about it.

This was my second trip to Ireland and when I was there the first time we stayed at Bru bar as well. It is above a pub but you can not hear anything when you are in the rooms which is amazing. Rooms are small and the bathrooms could have been cleaner but it was nothing that would detour me...

I should've known that sleeping above a bar would be an issue. I slept maybe 3-4 hours the night I stayed here. While this aspect of the hostel would be cool if you didn't have to wake up early, for me it wasn't great. The front desk was ok but I felt like we had to put a deposit down...

I enjoyed my stay at the Bru Hostel. The bar is divey and lively, and most staff were friendly. We had a good time hanging there and meeting people. The rooms were ok..pretty basic. Shower was annoying. You have to repeatedly press a button to turn the water on every 10-15 seconds, and you can't control the temperature. Would recommend...

We (2) stayed for one night in 4 bed room. Pros: - location - % off in close-by-shops/restaurants (f.e.: 50% off at the pizza shop) - reasonably priced, tasty beer and other drinks - fun bartender - locked luggage storage cupboard (if one insists on it) - room is not too cramped (you can get the underbed storage units out...

Travelled from Greece to stay in this beautiful city, met some friendly guests that were quite thirsty for fun! Group of fashionistas took me under their wing and had a great stay. There was a live band on, benny the drummer on Sunday morning was excellent. The rest of his band seemed to be from Northern Ireland. Again a talented...
