The hostel is beds are basic but it's above a bar which can noisy if you're at the lower levels. They kick you out of the common room at 12 pm which is a shame since that the only place with power sockets, table and working wifi. Wifi is also weird with parental lock blocking things like using Facebook messenger...

I wasn't expecting much since it's a hostel- but this was my friend and my first hostel experience. The location is great- close to bus stations and the city center. We arrived very early, so they held our luggage. We were extremely jetlagged but the front desk staff was very helpful about telling us where to go/what to do in...

I didn't stay in the hostel my review is on the bar downstairs. We planned to meet friends on Sunday afternoon to watch the match and then go for dinner in Isaacs. My friends were there before me with their two kids so I joined with my little girl. We went up to the bar to get drinks only be...

The location is great, walking distance from the bus station. Staff polite and friendly. Excellent atmosphere, the bar located on the ground floor, is busy and it's nice to meet people. The room is clean as well as the bathroom. Overall, I don't have any complaint, the only thing; the Wi-Fi just works on the ground floor. For people carrying...

Was here for a drink with my pals yesterday. It's a quaint little spot and I would have liked to be there on a Monday as they have a live mike and you can sing for a beer! Anyway, it's perfect for a pit stop!

I spent about 2 days there in February. It was a great hostel and great bar but I was sick during my stay and couldn't enjoy as much. Great people and music. Would like to have a drink there and maybe something to eat.

Stayed here with 2 mates on a boozy weekend away. It's not the Ritz. It's somewhere to put your head down after the sesh. There's a Hillbillies chicken shop only a few yards down the road, so for that alone you should consider staying here. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and we couldn't hear all the noise from the bar beneath us - which was nice. Check in was easy, and they offered discounted drinks at the bar! There was one guy staying here while we were here who made us uncomfortable, but luckily, we weren't sharing a room with him.

The place is just one block away from the river that crosses the city, pretty close to the bus station, next to the city centre, but I found hard to sleep over there because of the fleas on the beds, the hostel has one pub inside and it could be noise sometimes, still s one of the most popular hostel...

Booked the Bru Hostel for a night as I was in Cork. Unfortunately, and I speak as someone who has stayed in countless hostels both in Cork and throughout Ireland and the UK I encountered very poor service from start to finish of my stay at Bru. Stay at nearby Siles Hostel if your going to Cork its cheaper and...
