Dear Maol65, Thanks for your very sweet review, With a bit more than 200 years of history, The Imperial Hotel has been the very first hotel in Cork and I am glad that you made it your "home away from home". Mark is one of our great talent within The Imperial Family and he will for sure be very happy to know he made your stay very special and memorable. We are located in the heart of the city and our guest just need to walk a very few minutes to visit what is another great part of the Cork's history, the English Market, where are many of our food suppliers. I hope you will be with us very soon again, My Best Regards, Bastien

Had a lovely time. So cozy and SO nice. Complimentary blow dryer was a life saver. My only complaint is that the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. There was like a blood spot on the metal thing over the toilet paper - lol. Had one of the best sleeps of my life here though!

Is there a swimming pool? Thanks.
There is a Vitality Suite, with tropical, rain and mist showers, an Aroma and Salt Grottos, and a small hydrotherapy pool. Free for hotel guest during the week and at 18 euros during the weekend

Hi Lynn, It would be the 226 bus from Cork Airport and stops on the South Mall which is where the hotel is also located. Prices for an adult are €3.90 single and €6.50 return. Hope this helps. Looking forward to welcoming you to the Imperial Hotel, Mark
