    Blarney Castle Hotel was established in 1837 and is run by the Forrest Family. This picturesque inn sits on a peaceful village green, 5 miles from Cork City. Tastefully appointed spacious bedrooms. Unspoilt traditional bar with traditional music from 9:30pm on Tuesdays and live music every Saturday and Sunday. Kitchen specialises in the finest local produce. Killarney, Kenmare, Kinsale, Cobh, West Cork, Waterford and numerous golf courses all an easy drive. Food is served daily both in the Main Bar and The Lemon Tree Restaurant from 12 noon onwards till 9.30pm. Free wifi throughout the hotel. Blarney Castle Hotel is a focal point in Blarney for the locals and also with guests. We are a two minute walk to the entrance to Blarney Castle. Each of our spacious bedrooms has a private bathroom with power shower, satellite TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. We offer king and queen size beds as well as twin bedded rooms.

    Staff at the Hotel exceeded all expectations and food verity and quality was reasonably priced. We will certainly stay here again. Very short walk to Blarney Castle it’s self.So go kiss the Stone and walk around the gardens,then visit the cafe and gift shops.

    Amazing hotel and service
    Great hotel across the road from blarney castle. Fabulous service and the rooms were delightful as was the amazing Irish breakfast in the morning! Their White pudding is not to be missed! Half the price of big chain hotels in cork and double the service!

    Castle was amazing. A lot of uneven stairs with a thick rope to hold on to keep your balance. Not great for folks who are not steady on their feet or afraid of heights. But for folks who embrace the challenge it is an adventure.The views from the top of the castle were…

    Best hotel on our trip to UK and Ireland
    We stayed for 4 days and were blown away by the country pub feel and friendliness while at the same time the service was extremely efficient. All the food was great but the breakfasts in particular were fantastic. Being within walking distance of the attractions was also a bonus.

    Planning our family trip for summer,2018- have a few questions: which month is preferable with regard to weather and crowds? We have 4 adults , Our rrchildren are adults now - do you recommend 2 rooms or one suite and one room? What is the legal age for consuming alcohol? What is the cost for the shuttle to the airport? How many months in advance should I book my reservation? Thank you in advance for your help.
    Hi there, Many thanks for your enquiry of today. The weather is generally good in the months of May, June, July and August. With regards to crowds this would also be the busier times of the year. I would recommend probably 2 rooms (1) 1 double for yourself and perhaps a (2) twin room for your two adult children both with a bed each. The legal age for consuming alcohol in Ireland is 18 years of age. There is no direct shuttle bus from Cork Airport to Blarney and can be accessible via taxi from airport itself or alternatively getting a shuttle bus from the airport to Cork City and then getting a bus from Cork City to Blarney. The price of a taxi from Cork Airport to Blarney would be 20-25 Euros for 1 way and the bus would be cheaper however not as convenient.
