This hotel closed a number of years ago, and we visited the site while in Blarney recently. We were regular visitors to this hotel during the nineties and two thousands through our children's childhood years. We have so many happy memories of visiting what was really an excellent family hotel. Walking around the site of the now levelled hotel was a very melancholy experience. The buildings are demolished, but the footprint is still there, including the curved front entrance steps (which can be seen in the official picture) through which we had so many happy entrances and wistful departures. Life moves on I suppose, and you can't take it with you. Only the memories remain.

Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Stayed here on 3 seperate occasions. Food is excellent rooms are modrrn spacious and comfortable. The location is great for exploring on foot. Just very well run..

While booking a hotel to stay in in Blarney for next month I saw that the Blarney Park Hotel had one lonely review and I got a pang of nostalgia. Unfortunately, this hotel closed a number of years ago and was subsequently demolished. I ended up visiting the site on a recent trip to Blarney and you can still see where the floor tiles from the reception and the leisure centre remain. It's such a shame that this site is now just an overgrown piece of waste land. I used to stay there quite a lot a number of years ago and have very fond memories of it. The staff were fantastic, food was good, the paddy cole bar always had a bit of a buzz and starting off the day with a swim down in the pool in the leisure centre (which was top class for that time) was just perfect. Stayed here a while ago. Lovely hotel. Lovely food. Lovely location. Only complaint was my room was very warm and heat could not be regulated and I was beside the lift/elevator which made a horrible noise in the room. We considered this poor because we has paid a suite upgrade. We should have complained but did not. The staff was so lovely we found it hard to
