This was our first B&B of our tour in Ireland, and i should say, we did not find any other B&B that could rival with Jim & Carol's. Whether you are looking for a warm hospitality (they are genuinely happy to take time to discuss and share !), splendid spacious and confortable rooms (incredibly neat & clean, with a little...

We stayed in this b&b for 2 nights recently and just absolutely loved it. We have booked to stay there again later in the year as we were so impressed by everything about it. Beautiful spacious house set in really beautiful grounds, large comfortable bedrooms, wonderful breakfasts but most of all the warmth of Carol & Jim. Highly recommended... You...

I stayed here for a wedding in Glandore and had an amazing experience. I can't emphasise enough how welcoming Jim and Carol were - thank you very much guys. In addition, the house (lounge, kitchen, rooms, breakfast) and gardens are beautiful. In summary, I cannot recommend this B&B any higher. Once again, thank you very much. Steve

We stayed here at the end of June last summer as part of a short break to West Cork and Cape Clear. The inter connecting family room was just perfect as our boys are still quite young. They loved the idea of their own room with a dressing area separating it from the main room. The decor was country chic...

You really couldn't ask for a better B&B. Clean, comfortable, spacious, excellent and friendly service. We needed to get out early and she had no problem getting up early to fix breakfast and it was an excellent breakfast as well. I was really impressed with every aspect.

Stayed here for a month while I worked and Carol and Jim treated me just like family. Carols meals are delicious, and her sense of humour keeps you laughing. The beds are also large and warm! They're just down the roadfrom Union Hall where you can get groceries at Centra or a pint at Maloneys. I recommend this place to...

We have stayed at Lis-Ardagh Lodge for B & B and also in the self-catering houses many times over the years. It is always our first choice in the Union Hall/Skibbereen area for family and friends and we highly recommend it. Carol and Jim are very friendly but they also allow us to come and go as we please and...

Would certantly recomend this B&B. Very nice location, spacious and nice rooms, lovely breakfast and very friendly and helpful hosts: the best B&B we have been to since we married 8 years ago. The village, Union Hall is a typical Irish village where very little has changed since th first time I went there 33 years ago, a fisherman's village...

We highly recommend Lis-Ardagh. The rooms are very lovely and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the garden is gorgeous. The surroundings are really nice (Union Hall, Glandore). But this is nothing compared to Carol and Jim’s warm and wonderful welcome. They make this place really fantastic. We’d go back to Ireland just to stay in this B and B...

My husband, Steve Fleming, gave a wonderful review that I completely agree with. Carol & Jim were delightful and very inclusive, which made our time (5 nights) at Lis-Ardagh that much more enjoyable. The grounds are incredible with shrubs & trees not normally seen in Irish gardens (I'm a landscape fanatic); their hospitality was truly gracious; the accommodations in the...
