I just concluded my annual jaunt to Ireland with 6 nights in Ennis with Mary Keane of the Grey Gables. As alway Mary provided an excellent B&B experience The rooms are kept spotless and appropriately refreshed. The morning meal is a gathering time for the guests. Mary adds to the conversation, provide helpful tips and suggestions to those who are... More

Our accommodation at Grey Gables was very comfortable and Mary our hostess was very friendly and gave us very helpful information about the town- where to eat, entertainment and through our conversation we even managed to meet a distant relative in the town. Breakfast was a full Irish breakfast in a lovely setting. There was plenty of parking and only... More

Our arrival here was slightly irritating. The owner didn't look at her email or check her voice mails for the previous day to hear our request for a room. We had a little trouble finding the location with the very narrow streets and lacking a GPS. But, upon arrival, there was a room available which was very nice. The room... More

I spent two nights in Ennis. Mary is such a lovely person. Her breakfast is out of this world and she does everything to make your stay comfortable. The location is perfect- only a few minutes' walk from the town centre. She helped me with questions regarding worthy sights and good restaurants. I enjoyed every minute there! I am already... More

We recently stayed at Grey Gables B&B for two nights. This B&B is in a great location, only steps from the center of town. Friendly owner Mary made our stay even more pleasant. We had a great delicious full Irish breakfast in the morning along with suggestions where to go and what to do. I loved the small town and... More

We stayed at Grey Gables for one night while touring ireland. When researchjing options for Ennis none sounded like stand outs and we chose Grey Gables on the grounds of location and reasonable price. The location is very good - 5 minutes walk and you are in the centre of an attractive historic town. I think on price Grey Gables... More

We spent two nights in Ennis at Grey Gables. On arrival, we were traveling by bus from Dingle. When we left, we caught the bus to Shannon. The location is very convenient to the bus station and also within walking distance of sights and places to eat in Ennis. Our hostess, Mary, was gracious and kind to us throughout our... More

Very comfortable and clean accommodations in a great location that is 3 minutes walking distance from Ennis bus/train station and five minutes walking to Ennis. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful hostess. I stayed 2 nights in an en suite with hair dryer and TV. The room was airy and comfortable for resting--great light from windows-- and it was very easy... More

We stayed at Grey Gables for three nights earlier this month and it was excellent. Grey Gables is a very comfortable, nicely appointed B&B, in a great location, very close, and a short walking distance to the town centre, and Cusack Park if GAA sports interest you. There are also plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby. Mary is a very friendly and charming host, and the breakfasts are delicious.
