We were a large group of four large families (6 adults and 18 teens/children to be exact) and we were at the campsite for 5 days. I couldn't recommend this place enough!! Sally and Dave were so accommodating and helpful. As a large group we were extra work. They welcomed us at the pier and gave us a tour of...

Spent the last night of the season in a yurt overlooking the bay. Great welcome at the harbour; beautiful and well appointed yurt; idyllic setting; perfectly good shower block. Perfect place from which to walk the island. Highly recommended.

Stayed in a lovely yurt in cape clear campsite. Just above the sea, great views, friendly staff. Comfortable yurts with everything you need for a great stay in my favourite place on the earth! Would definitely recommend.

My fiancé and I stayed for two nights in the yurts and I have to say it was heaven. Our bags were collected on the day of arrival and we walked to the campsite which is only a 5min walk from the harbour. The yurt itself is ideal and you have everything you need to cook and sleep. They are...

A large group of us camped here over the August bank holiday weekend. Saturday and Sunday were beautiful. We were met from the ferry and brought to the campsite. The site was quite busy, but we found the last spot where our four tents would fit together. We had a wonderful time and made the most of the campsite, making...

Hi, many thanks for your comments on here, and a valid point made about a covered area for people who only have their own tents, if it rains (as that bank holiday Monday gave us more deluging rain in the morning than I've ever seen!!!!) Did your tents leak, that you needed to be somewhere else that was dry? Our...

Sally and Dave are very warm and welcoming to their camp site which is a very short walk from the pier, they come and meet you to bring your bags up which is really handy. The yurts looked really amazing but we had booked a bell tent - our daughter absolutely loved staying there and made a little friend at...

Hi. Many thanks for your review, so glad you enjoyed it! Dave is in the process of building the beach at the top of the camp site, with sand pit for children (you pass it up near the path at the top) We are steering clear of swings and roundabouts, as children love to find their own outdoor fun when...

Just spent two nights in yurt and 2 bell tents - 11 of us travelled 5 adults 6 kids - had a brilliant 2 nights the yurts are just unbelieveable so warm and comfy without even lighting the stove . Hired BBQ and fire pit well worth the extra . The views from the site just unbelievable - do the...

Hi, we enjoyed you staying here - thanks for leaving the yurt so tidy for us too! Hope to see you all again next year!

We just loved the location. Stunning view and perfectly located. Only a few minutes walk to the pier were the two pubs, shop and very good catering van (chip van). We paid an extra €10 for the fire pit which was made from scaffolding poles and the inside of a washing machine (impressive) and it was a really cool way...

I spent three nights in a yurt and would have spent thirty three. Im already planning a cottage industry to enable me to move, with or without my family, to Cape Clear permanently. Dave , Sally and Lindsey run a beautiful facility discretely, efficiently and in a friendly manner which you will find all over this idyllic island heaven. Ignore...

What a place!!! The view is to die for, Dalky and Dave are great- just our type of people!! It's a small site, which we loved. The yurts are fantastic, very well equipped and we loved every inch of them- we used the lack of electricity as an excuse to go off the grid- felt fantastic!!! We all slept extremly...

Hi. So pleased you enjoyed it. We've thought about the lighting issue a lot over the years and tell eveyone to bring a torch with them (in your confirmation email) as we feel that extra lighting up the path would be disturbing for campers who need the darkness to sleep. We will consider this again though and try to come...
