Lovely, clean well-appointed room and ensuite with the usual amenities associated with this level of establishment. While the ensuite was exceptionally large, the shower facilities were disappointing. The bath was long and excellent for anyone wanting a relaxing soak but for those who enjoy a refreshing shower on rising, as I do, then make sure you enquire as to the...

Tried this place after hearing it was good. Wish we'd never wasted our money. Sent the steak back twice as the supposed 'medium rare' came out twice with red raw meat in the middle. No vegetables in the entire restaurant!!! All meals come with chips ... Take it or leave it, and a small salad garnish. Certainly not the fine...

A friendly relaxing place to stay out of the city. The staff friendly, helpful and attentive. Our large room was of a traditional good old Scottish design with all of the amenities you would want in the room. Complementary teas, coffees, Bombay Sapphire miniatures, Famous Grouse miniatures; tonic, still and sparkling waters provided in the room along with a bucket...

Room was surprisingly very big but cosy becuse of the traditional Scottish decor, deep greens and tartan and the lighting. Big king size bed which was very comfortable. Large bathroom with bath and separate shower and large sink ideal for shaving and makeup. Iron and ironing board in the wardrobe and there was also a trouser press. Complimentary tea and...

We were at this restaurant celebrating a family event. The experience was unbelievable. The service was outstanding the ambiance was peaceful and sedate but we were still attended to as and when we were ready to enjoy our next course. There was no pressure to rush our courses. We felt like we were the most important people to the staff...

Just one night here, but two would have been nice. Our room overlooking the garden was spacious and comfortable. Wifi was hit and miss. Toiletries (lavender shampoo, ginger soap...) are very nice. Tub and separate shower in the bathroom. Had terrific fish and chips in the Chop & Ale House. The breakfast room is so pretty, main courses made to...

Room was clean and tidy. It has a 'french-style' feel to the room; but with Scottish decor. Room was large and had lots storage space for clothes. (No room safe through) The large en-suite Bathroom had shower, with ample hot water; bath and toilet with bidet in alcove. Complimentary spirits in the room.

I stayed here with my wife over a Sat evening. We arrived around mid afternoon and were very pleased with our room and the amenities. It's a lovely place and the staff are very attentive! Luckily the weather was exceptional so we sat out in the lovely back garden. The restaurant was fantastic and the food was lovely. Would definitely...
