Hotel's Favourite
Stayed for two nights over Hogmanay 2023 and in terms of comfort, etc it was exactly what you'd expect from Premier Inn. What made a difference was the staff - who were excellent. Friendly, helpful and well trained, everybody knew their role and performed it cheerfully. Special mention for Jen, Bem and Ally, but really they were all great. Highly recommended.

The service provided by staff was both friendly and more than helpful, with the security measures and 24 hour manned reception very reassuring. The rooms was of a very high quality and the bed extremely comfortable, will be replacing mine now! This is one of the most well appointed rooms I have stayed in in a long time, with plentiful and conveniently situated sockets, hairdryer situated beside a mirror, bathroom with various shower options. One issue, experienced noise during the night on Friday but not a sound Wednesday and Thursday, but limits to what the hotel can control.

This was my first visit to a premier inn and I was pleasantly surprised by the room standards in relation to the relatively small price. The room was lovely, the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and fresh The hotel is situated near a main road but you couldn't hear any of the traffic. There are a couple of bars and a cinema close by. The elevator and stairs to the rooms can only be accessed by guests which I thought is a great security feature. Really enjoyed my night away and can't wait to do it again.

We stayed at Premier Inn Hamilton for a 2 night break with kids , unfortunately as we had 3 kids we had to book 2 rooms , on arrival we were give rooms on different levels , we asked at reception to be on same floor staff were very happy to accommodate and sorted this for us and also advise that in future when we book online and want on same floor or joining rooms just to drop them a call and they would sort. Hotel was lovely very clean and welcoming , staff were all friendly and very happy to help at all times , Restaurant is good but pricey for the very small portions on our evening meal , but Breakfast was very good value for money especially when 2 kids eat free for 1 paying adult . Hotel is in a good location to shops , retail park / big Asda , our stay was to take kids to MD’s theme park which was only a 10min drive away , overall would stay again & would highly recommend to friends & family

We stayed at the new Premier Inn at Hamilton when up visiting family
The rooms were really clean as you would expect
We ate in the restaurant for lunch and evening a couple of times. The food and service was good
We had breakfast too
There are a couple of outstanding colleagues who made a difference
Debbie at breakfast, always happy, attentive, service was always great, she really is a credit to the company
And Declan, he is on reception. We had an issue with our aircon in the room. We reported it on the Thursdsy and nothing was done. We reported it again to Declan on Thursday. Straightaway he got onto it. Within an hour, he explained we would need to change rooms etc. Everything was organised for us. Again, he is a credit to the company

The hotel is clean and the beds are comfy as you’d expect from a premier inn. Soon as I would enter the hotel my phone signal would cut out, meaning I would need to use the wifi. The free wifi was very poor which left me with the only option of paying for wifi. I paid £20 for their wifi for 4 nights. The wifi would randomly just cut off so when I was on business calls and conference meetings, I would lose connection. I mentioned this to the staff twice and was told to contact virgin as there’s nothing they could do. This was a huge convenience due to the nature of my work and needing a good connection.

Secondly, I work nights and this doesn’t seem to be catered for. I left the sign on my door but the cleaners were very loud and there was constant banging on the floors above and chatting etc when they were cleaning the rooms. On my last day I came back to the hotel to grab a few hours sleep after my shift, bearing in mind check out is 12 noon. I had cleaners knocking on the door and coming into the room on 2 occasions which woke me. Luckily I managed to find another hotel to finish off the rest of my week whilst working here.

We recently stayed here and we were really impressed with the hotel and would recommend 100% to anyone staying in Glasgow. First and foremost all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were a very good size, very clean and of a high standard. There is a beefeater restaurant on site which we ate our main meal on the evening and our breakfast in.
Really tasty and lots of choice.
Good value for money.
The hotel doesn’t have its own parking but there was a massive council car park literally next to the hotel which was £5.80 for 24 hours.

All in all a good place to stay. I have a room which had disabled access (no idea why) so it had a wet room in place of the standard bathroom. No issue with that.
Breakfast for £9.50 was all you can eat both continental and full English, with unlimited drinks included. Again, just as you would expect from Premier Inn.
Staff really good, helpful & friendly, and service very much up to par, which includes the Beefeater attached to this hotel where breakfast, drinks and all meals are served.
Room was very clean, as expected.
The ONLY issue I came across was the hotel WiFi.
I initially logged onto the standard WiFi which is free, but found this to be slow and kept kicking me out so had to continually sign back in again. Very annoying.
So I decided to pay the £5 to log onto the "Ultimate" WiFi, £5 gives you 24Hrs access.
Was hoping it would be great as it's advertised as being 8x faster. Maybe it is, but that too kept on kicking me out, and I had to sign back in again. At one point I counted how many times I had to sign back in within 30 minutes. It came to 14!
Premier Inn - Can this please be sorted out? The 4G signal in the hotel is woeful at best so trying to use the WiFi to work, or whatever is the usual resort people go to. Being kicked out of it over and over again is REALLY ANNOYING, and to be fair, totally unnecessary. Please look into this.

Let me say up front I've stayed in many many Premier inns and this was by far the worst of the lot which is very frustrating given how apparently new this one is.

Where do I begin. Well the hotel is a few meters away from many nightclubs. And apparently many of these party goers frequented this hotel. There was ridiculous amounts of noise from rooms and outside. This is a big issue if you need a quiet night's sleep. This is not the place for you or a family. The rooms were fine... clean what youd expect from a newly built property but I found a few too many cobwebs and lingering hairs of worrying lengths throughout the room.
This needs to be looked into immediately as I heard others complaining about it.

There is a rival hotel a stones throw away and I've stayed there before although slightly older decor their customer service outshines the Premier inn by miles. When in Hamilton next I'll be staying there going forwards and will be insistent that friends and family do also too.

Very disappointed after reading the good reviews. Need to improve things big time.

We stopped in this hotel on our way to Scotland. It is a new hotel, 2 years old and everything is nice and clean. The staff working there was welcoming, helpful and very pleasant. The room was big enough for our family, our daughter was happy with her bed and she is a little spoiled princess who can complain if mattress is uncomfortable. The curtains were black out, there was a choice of pillows and the king bed mattress was extremely comfortable. We all had a wonderful sleep. The breakfast was very busy and we had to wait for food to be cooked, clean glasses to be brought and there was a queue for everything but we went to the restaurant in the peak time. The food however was tasty, coffee nice, for the price we paid we can’t really complain. It was an amazing value.
