The hotel was lovely, very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were of a high standard with a fantastic view of the racecourse. We came with our two children who absolutely loved the breakfast selection, especially the waffles! I was surprised the amount of dogs staying at the hotel and one lady had one in with her at breakfast which I found slightly inappropriate. When we got home we realised that my son had left something behind and was very upset. We called the hotel who checked the room, found the item and even posted it to us free of charge! We had a fantastic stay and will definitely stay again.
Stayed here for one night as it was a race night , Room was a little expensive but that’s because we left it last minute and it was a race night . It was my boyfriends first time at the races so I decided to treat him so didn’t mind paying the price as it was a one off and We liked staying here . We really enjoyed our night and it was handy staying in the hotel as once the races were over we could just relax in our room . Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly . Definitely recommend staying here on a race night .
Efficient check in and out. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel facilities were clean and of good standard. The room I stayed in was clean but had stains on the chair and the iron board had burnt stains. Although our room was situated by a busy road we did not hear the traffic. Parking was discounted by the hotel which was really good up to 50% off. I will definitely be staying here again if I visit Glasgow again.
Bed and sheets were comfy. TV was very small given size of room. Stylishly decorated particularly the chair and footstool in the room. Very clean. Wish the tub was removed and just a shower installed. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Enjoyed drinks in the lounge area.
Stayed here like most others to attend the races. Value was ok for racecourse view room and B location is mega if going to races, you can literally walk out of hotel onto the course and go in and out much as you like. However when we arrived and asked at reception where the entry gate was we were told we would have to go out and walk round to gate 4, total rubbish they just opened the fire exit and everyone went into the course direct from hotel, shame reception staff didn’t give right advice The room was modern and clean, nice bed and AC worked well in the current heat. Breakfast was ok, plenty of choice and great coffee and juice machines. All day menu is very small, we had lunch before going into races and ordered the nachos… not great, ok for value but think was processed chicken as opposed to fresh and presentation was very rough, sour cream etc just dumped on side of plate. Could’ve been better No acknowledging at reception of being an honours member and also mentioned when I booked direct that it was husbands birthday and no acknowledgment of this either. Shame as would’ve added a nice touch. Will be back when attending races again…
Stayed for one night in room 222 to attend the adjacent hamilton races. We were able to check in early which was very welcome as it allowed us to freshen up prior to an afternoon sport. We were able to access the racecourse directly from the hotel. After racing we had a meal in the hotel, due to other reviews we werent expecting much but were pleasantly surprised, excellent quality and service. A modern hotel where its apparent a deal of thought has gone into the development, comfortable quiet room, large tv, effecient blackout curtains. My wife requested a pillow change which was delivered within 10 minutes by the manager. After a good nights sleep a hearty breakfast in pleasant surroundings overlooking the racecourse. Checkout efficient and engaging by a receptionist who seemed genuinely interested in where we were off to next. …
Excellent welcome by staff, clean good size room, good quality towels and amenities for a overnight stop hotel. Good place to stop when travelling from north to south, or north to south- just off M74. Friendly bar, easy supper in open area. Average breakfast for a quick pit stop before Tracy onwards
Stayed for 5 nights in very pleasant room overlooking the Racecourse. Room was tastefully decorated with a racing theme, all well maintained and serviced to a high standard. Public and breakfast areas very comfortably furnished and overseen by extremely friendly staff. Included Hampton breakfast was good quality well stocked with hot food continuously replenished and tables efficiently cleared and cleaned. Hotel’s location was excellent for touring we easily accessed Glasgow, Loch Lomond and the S.W. Coast. We were travelling with a small dog and the hotel was very dog friendly with easy access to the adjacent racecourse and an excellent park just over the road, for exercising her. A very enjoyable stay, thank you Hamilton Hampton.
A lovely hotel and all very high quality as it only opened in 2019. The room was very clean and quiet, comfy beds and nice bathroom. Good quality breakfast with a good choice of food options. We also had some bar food in the evening which was good. Will stay again.
Watch out for the misleading misnomer of a name. No way to charge your ( Euro plug) toothbrush or shaver. The bathroom does not have it. Also no fridge. Next to me there was a tour group.Poor things, their food ran out before everyone could eat.The utter contempt they were treated with was pathetic.( But ordering à la carte was fine!). An example of what this faux- Hilton thinks of its guests.Shame on you, Hilton in Hamilton, Scotland.
