Hotel location near Ayr seafront is excellent. Main reception and bar area were lovely and our room was okay, great to have free wifi. Room itself was nothing special but had everything we needed for a one night stay - if staying longer I would have preferred a suite I think. We ate lunch and breakfast here and the food...

Great character hotel. Staff extremely friendly and spacious rooms. Wifi was sketchy on our visit. In our room it didnt work at all. Gym open at seven - bit late if you are working but fine for the holidayers. Plenty of parking out the front, nice restaraunt and bar. Breakfast staff extremely friendly and keen to help. Excellent selection of...

We were regular visitors to this hotel and stayed for 3 nights in April 2014, in 2 rooms. When we checked out we booked again for 3 nights in April 2015 and requested the same rooms, Sovereign and 14. We were told they were available and had been booked for us. We stayed at the Fairfield again in September 2014,...

We stayed there for a night during our road trip around England and Scotland. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were spacious. Beds were rather big, bathroom was enormous and shower really good. Best toilet paper I have ever had in a hotel anywhere on earth! ;-) You've got free wifi everywhere at the hotel. Location is quiet so...

We regularly visit Ayr in our touring caravan and know the area well. We arranged to meet friends for pre-dinner drinks in Martins Cocktail Lounge in the Fairfield Hotel. The surroundings and decor are lovely, very relaxing and you look into the sea which is a bonus. There was a real mix of couples and golfers all relaxing in the...

Just had a weekend at the Fairfield House Hotel, Ayr. Was with elderly parents and sister and her family. Kids had great time, pool was good, steam room, gym and breakfast was fantastic. Still great and very helpful. Only thing would be the price of the alcohol in the bar was wee bit overpriced but you expect that when you...

We stayed here Easter Weekend and found the restaurant and staff there were exemplary. I can honestly say that the food could not be better! Rooms were very dated and this was disappointing as they were nothing like the website and on arrival (2.50pm - 50 minutes after stated check in time) we had to wait 30 minutes extra for...

Staying at the Fairfield house hotel was a great experience. Beautiful building with a lovely park and beach area behind it. Perfect location - a short walk to town and a short drive to Culzean castle. The staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant served great food and coffee.
