Stayed here for five nights this week. I upgraded my room which was well worth it as its huge. All the amenities I needed were in room like iron and ironing board, nespresso machine, robe and slippers, shower products, hairdryer, settee, enough wardrobe space, large tv, dressing table/mirror, kettle, and a table with two chairs. Great views from room 568...

We used the hotel as our base for a 6 nights August break, to explore the area with our 8 years old granddaughter. Car parking though free, could be quite problematic at certain busy times for the leisure spar, which is open to locals. The spar area, bedroom and hotel in general was in need of a makeover. Despite being...

Our stay at The Mercure was an It is On deal. I paid the extra for a Privilege room on booking as it was a treat for my wife's birthday. On arrival the reception staff was very cheery and welcoming, checked us in and directed us to the 4th floor to our room. In the corridor on the 4th floor...

Dear Guest Many Thanks for your comments following your stay with us although of course I am disappointed that your stay was not an enjoyable one. Whilst the hotel is clearly a non-smoking hotel, this unfortunately does not stop some people from trying to. The hotel does take this issue seriously and will take the appropriate measures to try and...

Been here before and I will keep returning every time I'm in Ayr for a weekend. There's a lot of nit picking in some of the reviews and we strongly feel it's not merited. This hotel is a great 3 star hotel. It doesn't claim to be The Ritz! We were here on an ITISON, 2 night deal and every...
