A warm welcome and a spotless comfortable room, though mind your head when getting out of bed. Parking, Wi-Fi and a good breakfast. Very handy for the station and town centre, plus not that far from the beach.

Had to go for work after a long tiring day had a very good rest. The lady who received and looked after me was very helpful and friendly indeed. Enjoyed my breakfast and was feeling as if i am at home. Will highly recommend.

Just spent the weekend here and loved it. Congratulations to Jackie & Billy for making our stay so enjoyable. Clean neat magic breakfast and lots of help and advice on where to go and what to see. I think we will be back.

Jackie and Billy are lovely people nothing was too much for them very nice guesthouse. Room was very clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast in the morning always asking if you needed anymore. Ample parking at rear of guesthouse or on street which they provided a parking permit. Would not hesitate to book again next time in Ayr.

Friendly owners. Rooms great size and fresh. Breakfast choice is superb. Location very central to amenities. 5 mins from train station and town centre directly facing Morrisons. Entry in and out very accessible and a luggage hold on check out available for last minute shopping..!!! Would highly recommend.

I travel a lot on business and always look for smaller properties where I can feel part of the "family", rather than another impersonal box-like hotel. A'Turas-Mara is only 3 rooms, very friendly service from Jackie and Billy and breakfasts to die for. My room (both trips) was large with a comfortable bed and a generous en-suite bathroom (walk in...

What a lovely place. It is fantastically placed for the train, morrisons across the road and a short walk to pubs and restaurants. Jackie and Billy who own it are really nice, friendly and very welcoming, nothing is a problem and the brekkie was super. Will definitely be coming back.

Stayed here for a wee break away for one night. Looking at the reviews it seemed ideal, close to the town centre, clean and what I value ..Off street parking. Upon arrival it became clear the off street parking was going to be a problem, big enough for two cars (three at a push), and two cars already in there,...

Jackie and Billy are a charm !! Everything was perfect there from A to Z. Grocery store just in front, train station just 5 minutes on foot. I felt home there ;) Like I was staying at my mom's place :) And they really went the extra mile for me !! I hired a bike to go to Galloway Forest...
