This hotel is situated at the end of Loch Long and in a good position for touring. We had room 223 and it has a walk in shower-hurrah- and although small it was comfortable and after all was only sleeping in it. The food is good and of the standard you get at Bay hotels. I did notice that guests...

Excellent stay in the newly refurbished coach room to the rear of the property. Room was large, modern, light, warm, quiet and neutrally/tastefully decorated. Excellent large shower in the ensuite bathroom. The room was spotlessly clean. Upper room would be difficult for those with mobility issues but saw ground floor room available in main building. Breakfast was cooked to order...

Pitlochry is a very pretty town and our accomodation was perfect. Our ground floor room was clean, light and very spacious with a comfortable bed and seating. Our hosts Diane & Graeme were warm and welcoming and made us feel that their home was our home. The magnificent conservatory, where we ate breakfast overlooks a well tended award winning garden....

Booked the Claymore as a place to rest after the enchanted forest, and can safely say we will be back! Diane was so friendly, and made us feel so welcome. The view is amazing, and the room was more than we could have hoped for. Highly recommend staying here if you're ever visiting Pitlochry. Breakfast was cooked to perfection.

This is a great small hotel. Rooms were warm and cosy. We arrived early and bags were left in hotel and taken to rooms for our arrival. Breakfast was cooked to order and came piping hot. It was no trouble when I asked for extra toast and tea. owner Greame was helpful, chatty and friendly. We would definitely go back...

Claymore We had just finished our trip from John O’Groats and, looking for a place to rest for the night, we spotted the Claymore Guest House and Apartments in Pitlochry, where we enjoyed a warm welcome, a lovely quiet room and excellent breakfast the next morning. Based on that, we extended our stay for another night. The Claymore offers wonderful...

On the whole the room was clean, and the Furniture was comfortable, as was the Double Bed, I was in room number 7, which was situated near the back of the guest house, and was ok until I found myself waking up at 5am, I then went back to sleep until I got woken by some American guests bumping and...

This is a great find in Pitlochry. The location is great, leave the car for the short walk to shops, Festival Theatre, and restaurants. The owners are delightful, the food was delicious and our room, in the coach house, was quiet, comfortable and lovely. There are lots of places to choose from in Pitlochry, this is one of the best.
