Animal Friendly Hotel. Family break, booked on 28th March 2015. One night stay. Travelling north towards Inverness. On arrival greeted by friendly receptionist. Carpets on stairs worn/ripped, rooms very tired but clean (thank goodness it was a one night stay). TV remote control was not in the room on arrival, then was informed there was no TV as the Aerial...

We stayed here sat night 28/3/2015, and really enjoyed our stay, the room we were in needs some attention, ie toilet seat, grouting around bath and cleaning around the old sash windows, and a new mattress, but we loved the hotel, including the friendly service, the charm, the huge dinning room, bar area, seating areas around the fires, and a...

B and b in off season has benefits if weather kind. Blair Atoll has a great setting at the gateway to the highlands. The hotel although a bit run down has compensating benefits. Warm glowing log fires and a baronial dining area and a willing staff makes for a heady mixture.

We visited this hotel on an Itison deal - the food was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the hotel was cosy and clean. The minute we walked in we fell in love with it - it was a bit like walking into a scene off the front of a shortbread tin! This hotel is very traditionally Scottish, tartan everywhere,...

We booked our overnight stay with one of those voucher internet sites so obviously you get what you pay for. We got a nice bottle of wine and a nice room with no noise and we have no complaints. The view from our room was a bit poor but we were there for the serenity, not the view. Infact if...

From the moment of booking our stay, to leaving, super attention given to detail. Consideration was given to my elderly Aunty who was provided with a ground floor room (which she loved ) The staff were superb, hurried about their tasks but still keeping a watchful eye to make sure everyone was comfortable, and that the huge open Fire in...

We had another visit to the great 'Atholl Arms' in Blair Atholl, at the end of February .... it was super five days at this 'home from home' hotel. We arrived before the snow settled and awoke the next day to a 'Winter Wonderland' environment. We were impressed with how the Council workers kept all the roads clear. This did...

From the moment of our arrival we were treated warmly by all the staff. At check in we were told of the facilities that were available to make our stay more comfortable. Our room was warm, clean and large with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. As there were snow storms and hard frost during most of our stay the...

We booked a night here at the last minute as a stop off on our way to Aviemore. Arrived to a welcome check in. Our room was clean and adequate for the two of us and the travel cot. My only real criticism is of the shower in the room. In this day and age there is no excuse for...

Arrived early and staff on invited us to come and check in. Room was cold on arrival but heated up eventually when heater was on, Lovely big room, comfortable bed and big bathroom. Cant fault staff, very attentive and nothing was a problem. Breakfast very good too, everything we needed would definitely go back.
