We, (two couples) had a great overnight Itison voucher stay and enjoyed it immensely. The decor is part of the ambiance, just like an old friend and staffed by very helpful, friendly and enthusiastic staff. If you are looking for an IKEA experience this is not the place for you but if you're into shabby chic you'll love it, just...

We visited on a itison voucher which included afternoon tea and breakfast. The hotel is small but comfortable, afternoon tea was nice and breakfast was plentiful. We sampled the beer from the onsite brewery

We stayed here at a reduced rate and it was just about ok for that price. The afternoon tea was terrible. They produced a shop bought meringue nest, UHT cream topped with a raspberry, a tiny scone with more of that horrible cream, a couple of thin sandwiches and a handful of crisps. Oh, I forgot. A strawberry dipped in...

The hotel from the outside is lovely and the history is interesting. The interior has been neglected for some time and could do with some attention. Whilst you would want the interior to be sympathetic to the age of the building, the decor seems to date from the 1970s i.e. pine strips on the ceiling etc. When we checked in...

We visited after a recommendation from a local. The menu looks fairly inviting but that's as good as it gets. We ordered our food from the bar - the best I could say was that the barman thought he was being swift and efficient, but in reality he was just brusque and rude, barking out questions about our order while...

We have visited the Moulin on three occasions. The first was last summer, the weather was lovely so we sat outside. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. We visited again this February on our way North. We sat inside, the pub is dark but the fires were lit and it was cosy. We ordered soup plus my husband...

We had lovely time staying at the Moulin but did not feel exactly welcomed by the first person we met at Reception. A few of us thought she was quite rude. The hotel is a bit run down and in need of refurbishment. The bed was far too hard so we did not have a restful sleep. However the breakfast...

Stopped off here after 'climbing' nearby Ben Vrackie. Ideally located in picturesque village of Moulin near to Pitlochry. Nice warm log fire matched by warm welcome. Good varied menu and local beers to match. Visit recommended

Friendly convivial atmosphere. Large and very well stocked gantry plus an excellent selection of beers. Very well thought out menu and specials board. Must also give a well deserved mention for the excellent staff especially Dan the barman who showed a great knowledge of what he was selling and also a great interest in learning about the vast array of...
