We had lovely time staying at the Moulin but did not feel exactly welcomed by the first person we met at Reception. A few of us thought she was quite rude. The hotel is a bit run down and in need of refurbishment. The bed was far too hard so we did not have a restful sleep. However the breakfast...

Stopped off here after 'climbing' nearby Ben Vrackie. Ideally located in picturesque village of Moulin near to Pitlochry. Nice warm log fire matched by warm welcome. Good varied menu and local beers to match. Visit recommended

Friendly convivial atmosphere. Large and very well stocked gantry plus an excellent selection of beers. Very well thought out menu and specials board. Must also give a well deserved mention for the excellent staff especially Dan the barman who showed a great knowledge of what he was selling and also a great interest in learning about the vast array of...

Took my nephew here on a deal for an overnight stay with afternoon tea, and it's true what they say, you get what you pay for! We arrived 40 minutes early but the receptionist was hospitable and let us check in early. The room was roomy and warm but very tired and shabby. There was paint flaking on the ceiling...

Hotel is quirky and interesting, very old, nice to stay in a bit of history. Husband and I had an itison deal, enjoyed afternoon tea and then a lovely meal at the inn... although the food was pricey, we did not feel ripped off. Exceptionally clean room, I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The slight downside...

Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here for one night. Afternoon tea on our arrival was lovely and fresh, with a glass of prosecco, sitting by the wood stove. A short walk away from Pitlochry, this is a charming little village with loads of character, and the hotel is very much the same. We had a fabulous dinner in the bar...

Lovely, cosy hotel. A bit old fashioned but warm and welcoming. Great little bar with an open fire. Bar food very enjoyable. Super location - you can walk to Pitlochry which is a really nice little town - but the village of Moulin is lovely - even in the misty rain of late February. The only negative is that the...

We visited the Moulin as part of an it is on deal. We had afternoon tea which consisted of sandwiches, scones and meringues - all very tasty. Our room was very clean and had everything you need, however it is a little bit dated. The Inn is definitely the focal point of this hotel - fabulous atmosphere, very relaxing and...

I am surprised that I forgot to write a review as it is now almost 1 year since we stayed but it was important so rectifying this now ! We have stayed at the Moulin a few times and last year, after 17 years together, decided to get married there. Initially we were meant to be married on the green...

I've had a few meals in the Inn in the past and have always said I'd like to stay here for a night sometime, so when an Itison deal came up, and we were already going to be heading up past Pitlochry for a couple of nights in Nethy Bridge, it really was a no brainer. The deal we got...
