This is the best B&B we stayed in in Scotland, and we stayed in nice ones. This is, in fact, the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Pauline is head and shoulders above the rest, and her home is absolutely fabulous. And the breakfast was the best we had in Scotland, bar none. I cannot come up with any... More

Northlands B&B is a traditional, stone built Victorian lodge house with large, high-ceilinged rooms and furnishings in keeping with the style. Consequently, rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with small attentions to detail like toiletry baskets in the shower rooms and whisky as a night cap (or in my husband's case, an aperitif before dinner!). It's these little touches which... More

This B&B is lovely and well located, only a short walk into the center of Pitlochry. Pauline is a gracious hostess and she goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. Breakfast is outstanding with delicious homemade yogurt, locally made muesli, fresh berries, platters of a variety of cheeses and meats, as well as made to order hot... More

Pauline is the best host we've encountered at a B&B. She takes great pride in her business and looks out for and after her guests with great care. The house itself is just gorgeous. The amenities are lovely and the views spectacular. No detail is too small for Pauline. We stayed there for 2 nights, but wish we would have... More

Pauline is a wonderful hostess. The historic home is sited on a hillside just above the center of Pitlochry; easy walking distance to restaurants, whisky distilleries, shopping and a lovely walk along the river. Our room was a good size, immaculate and well furnished, with fluffy towels and bathrobes, two chairs (thank you!--most hotel rooms only have one chair), tea... More

Beautifully presented house in immaculate condition. Very hospitable owners who couldn't have done more to help. The quality of the local food for breakfast was superb and the lovely personal touches such as a wee dram of whisky and a couple of pieces of millionaires shortcake in the room made it feel very special

Our second visit at this lovely B&B. Pauline has very high standards and does everything possible to make your visit perfect. The rooms are very comfortable, warm and beautifully decorated with lots of little extras.
