Booked in for spa treatments and a nights over night stay. Couple of days before we were due to leave we got a call to say that we couldn't have the treatments due to staff walking out. However they did offer our stay for free along with all food. We arrived and was met with a warm welcome, yes the...

The crew formed part of a larger party that descended on Pitlochry and this hotel for a family reunion. We'd booked this hotel because of the pool, but changes to plans from some of the other family members meant that it wasn't used on this occasion. It is located in the more modern extension to the main building that stretches...

Booked for a mini spa break for birthday treat. Checked in at reception & struggled to understand the receptionist as her English wasn't very clear, got room keys & it was like the crystal maze trying to find our room. The room was absolutely tiny & we had a view of the kitchen vents etc & the noise from this...

The Afternoon Tea was nothing like it should be. We were seated at an uncovered dirty table. The sandwiches had obviously been made hours before as the bread was hard and curled up at the edges. The cream for the hard scones was not clotted cream as advertised and tasted artificial. The Brownies were hard and there was one slice...

Certain parts of hotel need upgraded and their is a weird smell in the reception area but thankfully it doesn't reach in to the rooms. Breakfast was ok, but table service when busy is slow and we were at a table out of site and were forgotten about ! But staff were under pressure so I understand how that can...

I'm one of those bus tourists who are happy to stay at a comfortable place big enough to accommodate large parties. This one is centrally located yet far enough from the major road to allow a good night's sleep. It's just around the corner from Robertson's so shopping your whisky is quite easy. The hotel has many separate sitting areas/bars...

We stayed Friday and Saturday nights and enjoyed the evening entertainment on the Saturday. We were with other family members celebrating my parents Diamond Wedding anniversary. When we first arrived we thought that the decor was a bit tired and dated. However our rooms were spotless and it became clear that the hotel was a warm, comfortable place full of...

To say that we are disappointed is a massive understatement. The hotel is an embarrassment and smells. The food was well below standard on the chefs daily menu which was charged at £25 for a 3 course meal. I had sea bass which was the size of a pilchard with dried up potatoes and 3 pieces of watery green vegetable...

Arrived and felt as though our room was furthest away from entrance, after having specifically asked for a room with easy access outside for dog The room is very small, clean enough, but appeared to be set for one person, e.g. only one packet of biscuits, one set of toiletries. Dinner on first night was very very poor, friend didn't...

Shower has no pressure, carpets a trip hazard, old sheets thrown in cupboard, loose toilet seat, DIY repairs, old and tired, dirty windows couldn't see out of. There was a lot of condensation in between the glass.
