Our last B&B finishing our fantastic Great Glen Way cycle trip. We arrived a bit early, but the hosts got the room ready as fast as possible and offered us a drink in the meantime. Nice room, good beds, good shower, and delicious homemade shortbread. Beautiful garden, you'll never guess that when you arrive. The lady of the house gave...

We booked our room at Ashbank House through the Visit Scotland office in Aviemore. Upon arrival the room was clean, comfortable and complete with homemade Highland Shortbread on the hospitality tray. Helen the host was lovely and very accomodating. The full Scottish breakfast was amazing! NOTE: If walking from the train station take Bonnethill Road and wind your way through...

We stayed here for two nights. Let's get the minor negatives out of the way first: - It's not well located for the town centre. It's some way out and up a steep hill. And Pitlochry is not that well served by taxis (!), though you can usually phone for one. - We had some issues with the wi-fi while...

My wife and I were on a 11-day jaunt through Scotland, and we enjoyed our one night in Pitlochry at Ashbank House. Helen was a lovely hostess, kind, easygoing, and resourceful. The grounds of Ashbank were arresting, with a small river running by, and it was just a short walk from the shops and restaurants of Pitlochry. The breakfast was...

I only stayed one night but would be happy to have stayed a whole week. Helen could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Her easy going, 'put you at your ease;, and 'nothing is too much bother' style is just what makes Ashbank House the kind of B and B you'd be happy to visit again and again. The...

Stayed for one night with my wife to see a play at the Pitlochry Theatre. The room was excellent and the breakfast was first class. Would recommend the Ashbank to anyone looking for a quality B&B. Will book again on our next visit to the Theatre.

We stayed here on our route home from Ullapool, lovely welcome from Bob and Helen who showed us to our room which was very clean and comfy, lovely homemade shortbread to have with our coffee when we arrived. About 10 minute walk to the high street from here where there are plenty of shops/bars/restaurants. Breakfast was very filling, plenty of...

We stayed one night on our journey from Yorkshire to Ullapool. Lovely room at the top of the house with beautiful views and wonderful large bathroom. Helen and Bob made us very welcome and provided an excellent breakfast. A short walk into town and would recommend Fern Cottage restaurant for delicious seafood. Thank you so much, we hope to return.

We had the room on the top floor, with its own bathroom on the same floor. The room was not very big but it was very homy, as was the rest of the house. Helen and Bob gave us very good advices about the local restaurants and attraction. The garden is gorgeous, the whole place is very calm. Breakfast was...

What a really nice place. First time we had stayed there but will definitely be using it again. The accommodation was comfortable, the breakfast superb and the owners couldn't have been more friendly.
