We stayed at Clifton House for 8 nights. We chose it because of the very good reviews that it had received on Trip Advisor and also because of it was within easy walking distance of town. I am originally from Perth so I was aware that there might be road noise as the B & B is on one of...

After reading the good reviews, Clifton House seemed the perfect place to stay on our way back to the airport from the north west Highlands. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed and our hostess very helpful over places to eat that evening. We spent a comfortable night and enjoyed an excellent breakfast before continuing on our way. Recommended as...

Kathy and Peter were wonderful hosts. This a really nice place to stay and is a short walk from the train station. We loved our room (the Superior Suite) that was so nicely decorated. The shower was a bit small and both my husband and I hit our elbows quite often while trying to maneuver around in it. The breakfast...

We enjoyed a very pleasant 2 night stay recently. Kathy & Peter were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very large, bright and well appointed. Although we didn't have a car on this trip, there is plenty of parking, and the location is very convenient for the rail station. We had an early train into Edinburgh, but Kathy was...

I stayed at Clifton Guest House for a week. It is quiet, extremely comfortable and Kathy and Peter were ideal hosts and did everything to make my stay so enjoyable. It is very convenient for the station, which is only about 5 minutes walk away and it is also a very pleasant walk into the centre of the town.

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful guesthouse and absolutely loved it. We had the superior double room and it was very generously sized, with a little sitting area at one end where we sat and read or watched television. The decor was really nice , classy and tasteful- there was none of the tackiness which many guesthouses seem to...

Stayed at Clifton House during June for a mix of Business and Leisure. Lovely large twin room with spacious en suite shower room. Freshly cooked breakfast each morning and on the 2 days I required breakfast slightly earlier there was no problem. The hosts Kate and Pete were able to recommend some lovely restaurants in the evenings and were very...

Romantic victorian building with beautiful bright rooms and tasty high quality food. Friendly hoast, which helped other with some tips about restaurants and sightseeing in Perth. It is a real pity, we staid only one for day. We hope to visit this hotel once again.
