Detailed Reviews
My wife and I managed to get a room here for 6 days on short notice after learning that our previous honeymoon venue had gone into administration. Caroline and Alistair are friendly, welcoming and have a genuine interest in their guests. The rooms are very clean and of a good size. Our room had a double bed and single bed but there was still enough space to spend some time to relax after a busy day sightseeing. The breakfast was made for you as you arrived in the dining room with fresh coffee and fresh orange juice. A perfect location to use as a base for visiting attractions and historical venues to which our hosts were fantastically helpful. We definitely feel very lucky to have discovered this gem of a guest house and whole heartedly recommend you give them a try. You will not be disappointed. We are very much looking forward to our next visit.

Caroline and her husband gave us a very warm welcome and we were even allowed to choose which room we could sleep in. The rooms are very lovingly furnished. Breakfast made us feel almost at home. Of our whole trip to Scotland, this B&B was the friendliest! Highly recommended!

Fantastic short stay. Extremely friendly and accommodating hosts who went out of their way to make sure that my stay went smoothly. From late check in, to an early breakfast and a late check out with full access to facilities, they couldn't have worked harder to look after me. Room was spotlessly clean and breakfast exactly what I needed. Thanks Caroline and Alistair!

We had the most friendly stay. Alistair and Coraline were helpful in answering any questions we had. For us, it was like staying with friends. The room was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast service was the same great choice of food.
Excellent. 😃

My mum and I stayed at the Albert Villa for 4 nights over the Easter weekend, to explore Perth and the surroundings. The owners Caroline and Alistair were most warm and welcoming, and made us feel like family. The accommodation (with private entrance) was fabulous, with nice little touches, i.e. kit kats on the welcome tray. Breakfast each morning was absolutely gorgeous, cooked to perfection and gave us a great start to the day.
I will definitely return to the Albert Villa and would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Perth.

This is the 2nd year running we have stayed in the Albert Villa (5 of us) we could not have been made anymore welcome by Caroline & Alistair, what a great location within a 10 minute walk to Perth town centre, the rooms were spotless & a lovely breakfast was served. I would highly recommend to stay here

My friend and I happened upon here by accident and were very glad we did!
Our reaction to the room was "Oh Lovely!" simultaneously as Caroline opened the door. Clean, well kept, spacious.
The breakfast was the best we had in our weeks stay in Scotland.
Caroline is lovely and helpful. We really couldn't ask for more!
Highly recommend! Perth is a beautiful city and The Albert Villa a great place to stay!

Pleasantly surprised. Central location, proprietors friendly and welcoming. Room exceptionally clean and stylish. Breakfast choice extensive and beautifully presented. Spent a thoroughly enjoyable weekend in July 2013. Would recommend and choose to return.

I was recently in sept a guest with my boyfriend in the Albert Villa for a weekend stay. It is in a lovely villa within easy walking distance of Perth City Centre (shopping), Frank and Bennys for (beer, cocktails, like TGI's or hard rock) and st catherine's shopping centre is nearby. It is a approx an hour drive from edinburgh airport. There is ample parking in front and behind the villa. There are many choices re type of room and very reasonably priced. It's owners Caroline and her husband goes to great lengths to make visitors feel welcome on their arrival and throughout their stay. Even thou we arrived 4 hours approx prior to check in time, we were allowed to leave our bags and we went out for an hour and on our return our room was ready. Breakfast is earmarked the night before prior to 9pm and there is a choice between cereal or a fry up, juices, tea and coffee and toast etc..There are a wide variety of rooms available, we were in a double room at the back of the villa, with loads of privacy. All are clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities (and a kitkat) and a flat screen tv. Hairdyer in room, guidebooks and shower facilities. will definitely be returning next year to the twae kon do event in the bel centre, which is 5 min walk down the road.
