Nice and comfortable room. Good food in restaurant and lovely sea views over the Moray Firth. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet location in town centre near high street and bus station. Would recommend for short stay.

Friendly staff. Nice sea view room. Comfortable but needs an upgrade. The owner did tell us he was in process of doing this. Have stayed once before & would certainly stay again. Like the area & use the hotel to visit family living nearby.

Stayed in room 9 on the top floor. Large comfortable room with en-suite. Fantastic views over the links to the sea. Conveniently located a short walk to town, beach & harbour. Good well cooked and presented food from local suppliers, although disappointed with the use of frozen chips. Great range of real ales and malt whiskies. Very helpful and friendly...

I stayed at the Braeval for 2 nights, with dinner, bed and breakfast included. I stayed in room 4 which was clean, cosy and quiet. The bed was really comfy and the shower had great pressure, however it did take a while for the water to heat up. The best thing about the hotel is the food. It's outstanding! Proper...

We arrived at the hotel and were surprised because the photos of the hotel paint a very different picture. We found a hotel which was more like a guest house. There is no lift and the whole place is dated. Initially we booked one double and one single. The double room was nice with a great view of the sea....

The single room was fully refurbished with new double glazed windows, fresh decor and an entirely new wet walled en suite in February. We refresh the décor in the hotel every year in a typical Scottish pub hotel style, not a contemporary style, so perhaps that accounts for your view of it being "dated". It states on our website that...

Basic B&B. Room very clean. Staff extremely helpful. Good location relative to the town and promenade. Breakfast very good and efficient service. No frills but very good value and I would stay again. My room had a lovely sea view over the Moray Firth.

Beautiful beaches to walk on, with opportunities for spotting wildlife. Golf and other outdoor activities available in local area. Nairn is a very pleasant place to be. There are also interesting historical connections nearby. The hotel is situated in a central, convenient location. It is not noisy at night.

We stayed here on Friday night as we were visiting Nairn for a family wedding. I couldn't fault it at all! The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was very clean and warm, and the breakfast was delicious! We didn't get a chance to eat or drink in the bar area but it looked great too. Would definitely...

We stopped here on route northwards and were not disappointed. My husband is a real ale fan and that's partly the reason we booked. He was very impressed at the range on offer and the way the ales were kept. We had a lovely spacious room overlooking the sea. Dinner was served either in the lounge/bar area, complete with cosy...
