Beautiful hotel, rooms spotless and comfortable. We had a complementary bottle of wine in our room. Breakfast and dinner were totally satisfactory. All staff were very helpful, cheerful and kind. Would recommend this hotel to all age groups

Thank you for posting a review on trip advisor. I was disappointed to hear there were aspects of your stay not up to the standard you expected. The Conservatory has just been newly opened and this has been well received by many returning guests. The bar man was correct and you can still eat in the bar area if you wish...

Having stayed in the hotel previously, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. We had a warm welcome at reception, spacious room with underfloor heating in the bathroom and a pleasant outlook. The restaurant could not take your breakfast order quick enough, even before you were seated.

Although the location looked stunning, everything else about this hotel from the service to the rooms was way below average. My husband and I thought we'd treat ourselves to a night here for our anniversary, we arrived later than normal (around 8pm and the hotel was told). First experience was a member of staff at reception who'd clearly forgotten how...

Stayed here on Saturday night for a girls get together. Arrived to a cream tea which was very welcome after the journey. This was included in dinner B&B deal which was £55 for a twin room. There wasn't a special menu for the dinner which meant we could choose whatever we fancied. Some dishes had supplements but that was not...

We stayed here after flying into Inverness. The hotel is close but you'd never guess there was an airport anywhere near when you get there. Rooms were nice, but the atmosphere in the bar was great. Had a great evening and breakfast the next day was also great.

Absolutely loved our stay here and will be back, we had the Chaplin Suite and would certainly stay there again, very cosy and felt historic although if you're after perfection you might not be satisfied (we certainly didn't mind the minor scuffs!) Staff were all very friendly and happy to help, breakfast was great! Wifi coverage could be better as...
