We stayed here in August 2015 and Sunny Brae exceeded all expectations. We were greeted by name when we arrived - after our 24 hour trip to get there that was a welcome experience. The room looked out at the water and was well equipped. The restaurant was outstanding and very welcoming. We would love to come back here.

Warm welcome at this family-run hotel and restaurant. Beautiful view of Moray Firth from bedroom and great location on sea front by the well-known bandstand. Excellent food and drink choice for dinner and wonderful fresh local raspberries and strawberries at breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.

Being in the area on business the Sunny Brae was the perfect retreat after a long day. Upon arriving late in the evening Ian checked me in, showed me to my room, then pointed me in the direction of the restaurant where I was treated to an exquisite meal served very efficiently by the friendly and welcoming Rachael. With a...

My husband John and I live in Alaska, so it was 15 exhausting hours to Scotland. We rented a car for our driving tour of the highlands, but that is another story. Marie from "Scotland Made Easy" created our B&B itinerary, and included for us a three night stay at the Sunny Brae Hotel. During our trip, we also stayed...

The hotel is perfectly maintained and very comfortable.. The food is absolutely excellent, almost too tempting. This is not a cheap hotel although not over expensive and in any case worth every penny.. I...

We booked to stay in this hotel after reading reviews, just about 3/4hr before we arrived. So when we arrived they were unaware of our booking to their credit a beautiful greeting was given. We had the last room but think if going again an upstairs room with bigger windows to see the north sea would be the way to...

Don't be put off by the exterior of this hotel - it doesn't look any different from many ordinary hotels in lots of places. But Sunny Brae is very different. It is family run, so the service is intimate and first class. Your name is known immediately, and you are looked after superbly. We booked only a few days beforehand,...

From the moment we arrived to when we left the welcome was very warm. The property is beautifully maintained and very clean. Our room was large, bright and very homely. Breakfast was also excellent. Although we didn't have dinner at Sunny Brae the reports we had from locals was that the food was excellent. Although a little pricey, we paid...
