My fiancé and I visited Boath House for lunch recently. The food and service couldn't be faulted, it was a fantastic experience. Anybody in the area should pay this wonderful house a visit and we will definitely return soon.

A true "Find". Former estate converted into bedrooms with several sitting rooms. Breakfast and Dinner on menu set by superb chef using local, fresh ingredients in original ways. Meals built into room cost. Lunch can be made, but a separate charge applies. Drinks not included. Cocktail hour before dining. Each room has real character and is quite distinctive. Attentive and...

Fabulous visit from start to finish, in Woodland view room and was so comfortable. Amazing slipper bath with Molten Brown products in lovely bathroom, one of the best hospitality trays I have had with yummy home made biscuits and good quality tea and coffee. Staff were all so lovely with just the right amount of friendliness, service was impeccable. Dinner...

Stayed one night, which included dinner. The whole house was furnished in lovely old (but well cared for) pieces. Our room was very large and included a huge bathroom with two large claw foot tubs. The whole place was romantic as well as well designed. Appropriate from younger people as well as older folks. Overall, the food was fantastic and...

This is the first time we have visited Boath House and hopefully not the last. From the second you drive up to the front door you feel that your stay will be special. The building is beautiful and the grounds are large and well maintained. Our room was number 1. A beautiful room overlooking the front. We had dinner our...

Went for dinner and again had a lovely meal. High quality, locally sourced - portions are not huge so you can enjoy the 7course menue. Pre-dinner drinks in the lounge with fire blazing whilst choosing the menue. There are no white table cloths anymore but woven (does feel like plastic - assume it's not) placemats : have to admit I...

Itison voucher purchased for an overnight stay, 3 course dinner & breakfast which we used as our Babymoon getaway costing £245 but real price should of been about £410. We arrived by train from Inverurie & as you cant walk to Boath House got a taxi from the centre which was easy enough and took only just over 5 minutes....

My friend and I stayed here for 1 night using a voucher for a 3 course meal and bed and breakfast. Neither of us had heard of Boath House previously but we had a really wonderful night. We were welcomed on arrival and from the start the atmosphere and relaxed but beautiful surroundings made us feel at home. The house...

We had lunch today, it was quite for a Sunday, which was a shame for the restaurant but not for us, a lovely pre lunch walk around the gardens and lochen and then a bright welcome at the door and we entered Boath House the staff were brilliant, attentive and amusing without being overbearing. We sat in the lounge for...

Wouldn't dream of eating anywhere else on Valentines weekend! Never disappoints and we're always pleasantly surprised with the Chef's creations. You have to splash out and do the 6 course fixed menu. Definitely well worth it. Beautiful hotel, relaxing and with excellent staff. The Michelin star is well deserved.
