We stayed here for 3 nights while our house sale went through, on arrival we had a friendly welcome, rooms were very clean , only gripe would be to say rooms were very cold..although it was July so maybe heating was turned off. Breakfast was lovely and the owners were friendly and helpful. Our room looked over the beautiful garden...

We were visiting family in Nairn and had traveled without booking accommodation only to find most hotels were full due to the Scotish open. So we stumbled across the Glen Lyon Lodge and are glad that we did. This traditional Scotish family home is the perfect base whilst visiting Nairn, well maintained with beautiful gardens. The room was spacious and...

Very handy for centre of Nairn (about 7 mins walk) it is very convenient. It sits on the corner of Waverley Road and the A96 to Inverness but noise was not a problem. Very clean inside, reasonably well appointed and host courteous. Only problem was that the room was cold and the heating is clearly on a timer. Even when...

Just returned from this B&B, paid £70 a night for 2 people. This old house sits on the corner of the main road into Nairn, run by Forbes & his elderly mum, who does loads to help out. Although it was a bit old fashion for me, it was clean & tidy, with good quality clean carpets, nIce Bed linen,...

Our family was travelling around Scotland and wanted to stay in Nairn. We were lucky enough to find Glen Lyon Lodge through the UK travellers bureau and booked 3 rooms for the 6 of us who were travelling. Each room was very charming, clean, had an ensuite. The gounds were very well kept and the gardens gorgeous. Forbes and his...

We happened on this B&B by accident as our decision to overnight for 2 nights in Nairn was made last minute and yet we can't say enough about how wonderful our stay has been. The Glen Lyon Lodge is in a converted Victoria home. The grounds and garden are lovely with off road parking and only a 5 minute walk...

An excellent B&B in a beautiful old house. Perfectly situated for touring the highlands. And the hospitality is second to none. We stayed in the room with an enormous bay window overlooking the beautiful gardens. The en-suite bathroom was delightful. And then there was the breakfast. 1st class in every way. All the food you could eat, superbly prepared and...

A little walk from town and maybe a little dated in some respects but very clean, lovely gardens and a good breakfast. Off road parking was a great help. would maybe benefit from a biscuit or two on the hospitality tray but everything you need for a comfortable stay and the toiletries were very good.

Glen Lyon Lodge is an excellent B&B in a gorgeous victorian house. Walking distance to the city centre with many restaurants. Extremely clean room and spacious bathroom. Breakfast is of very good quality (the host is a chef). Must try home-made marmalade and jam. Very friendly service and atmosphere.
