Stayed here after the Ryder Cup as a base for a quick look at the Highlands. We received a warm welcome. The room was nice with a good shower. We were recommended a restaurant and our host managed to get us a table. The Old School House is a fantastic lively restaurant with great food. Breakfast was good quality and...

The Cawdor House was our favorite stay in Scotland. It's quiet residential location, spacious and beautifully decorated B&B, & the overly generous breakfast made this a wonderful stop. The Scottish Highlands are spectacular, and this stop in this quaint town was a definite plus. The owner also helped us with recommendations about the area that were fabulous, and was very...

I stayed for two nights during mid-week with both my grown daughters & my mother & had a fantastic stay. The food was gorgeous & the owners were very accommodating considering one of my daughters is wheat free/gluten free & the other is dairy free. They went beyond & bought foods that were safe for them. That goes a long...

I stayed here for a couple of nights and loved the peace and ambience of the place. The rooms are immaculate, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served in the large dining room. The location of Cawdor House is ideal and the owner was very attentive and helpful. Will definitely stay here again and 100% recommend it!

Stayed at Cawdor House with friends over the weekend - and had a really enjoyable time. The food was great (the full cooked breakfast has that "local produce" touch, which makes a real difference) the bedroom was comfortable and spacious, with a nice en suite, and the reception was warm and friendly. Handy for centre of town and an easy...

The owner Paul is happy to share his knowledge of the house and area with friendly enthusiasm. The house is full of interesting pictures and furniture. The bedroom was roomy...

Nice room with nice ensuite shower and toilet. Very clean everywhere. Great choice of breakfasts. I had porridge with cream and a very good potato scone covered with haggis and a poached egg. The full Scottish breakfast looked great. Will be back.

We stayed for 1 one night and had nothing to complain about. A beautiful big room, nice breakfast (the porridge!!!) and a friendly landlord. Shops and restaurants are nearby, harbour 10-15 minutes away (by foot). We would definitly stay there again!
