Earlier this year we had the pleasure of staying in the Julio Cesare Hotel in Rome as guests of the Holland America Line and it was an extremely elegant place that was just so Italian and so different from anything we had previously met that it was stunning. Coming into the Aurora in Nairn we got a strong sense of... More

Staying at a nearby B and B, we walked here for dinner. We were ver impressed with the menu, classic Italian. We had the prosciutto with melon as well as the garlic cheese bread for appy's, and the two of us cleaned both plates, Wonderful. The veal scallapini was great, and while veal parmigiana wasn't on the menu, the chef... More

The family that runs this B&B were just lovely. We enjoyed the food and our stay. Although we only stayed for one night, we had both dinner and breakfast (great coffee). We had 2 rooms; a small twin loft and a large queen. For the queen room: PROS: quite spacious, comfortable bed CONS: step in the bathroom will catch you... More

My dad stayed here and the staff were very friendly and nice. The food was amazing and well priced. The people made you feel welcome and the room was clean and comfortable. Central to the town so not far to walk to anything in Nairn.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly and breakfast was good. The only problem was the price! Massively inflated because of it being the school summer holidays. I appreciate that prices do go up during peak times but a rise of £40 per night to £120 is a heck of a hike!

Dear Mr Jones, Thank you for your review. We are saddened that you think the cost was too much. Please note though that we do not increase our prices in line with school holidays and summer holidays. The room you booked was booked at the very last minute on-line and it was a family room for 3 people. The rooms... More

This is a great B&B a short walk from the centre of Nairn. We were very well looked after by the staff, the breakfast was particularly good. Close to Golf courses and the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Have stayed here on and off over the last month or so, as working in the area. I like the place as the owners and staff are friendly, the rooms are adequate, the restaurant is handy and the food is really good. I reviewed the restaurant previously when staying at another hotel in the area. The car park is small... More

Other reviewers have commented adversely on the size of the single room(s); my view is that the room I occupied for one night was more than adequate. I raised one concern with the co-owner and was assured that this concern would be addressed immediately. The food in the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast) was excellent - but beware the huge... Booked this hotel for 3 nights for Hogmanay. The owners are lovely and the rooms are well cleaned. Overall the decor is a little dated and needs some work but to be honest an awful lot of hotels I have stayed at lack this kind of investment. The prices were reasonable and the breakfasts good but we spent a lot... More
