When I tell people about my first trip abroad, the Old Bank House and Michael and Joshua is where I start. I couldn't have enjoyed my stay with them more. Helpful, accommodating and just plain very nice. They made my stay in Kyle. WARNING- If you need a 5 star impersonal modern hotel- this isn't for you. If you want...

Me and my buddy stayed at the Old Bank house with Mike for a couple of days so we could visit Skye. Mike was very nice to check us in quite late as we had a delay of plans with the traveling. He even opened the breakfast area for us to have a late dinner that same night as we...

The Old Bank House is a B&B accommodation next to the bridge to the Isle of Skye which makes it a great starting point for exploring the Isle of Skye. A Coop supermarket with a very good assortment is near the B&B. The house dating back to the Victorian area is right in the center of Kyle of Lochalsh but...

Just back from a two night break in Kyle of Lochalsh with our two grand children. The Old Bank House B&B was brilliant. The owner Mike is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. He spends his time working between the bed and breakfast and charity work. We could have sat talking to him all day as he...

Stayed with Mike for a couple of nights. Lovely guy and very very helpful. Excellent full cooked breakfast. Extremely good value for money. Recommended a couple of local places to eat as we came by train. Brilliant Indian restaurant on other side of bridge – Only 20 mins to walk. Would definitely come back again.

I stayed three night in the Old Bank House. Thanks to Mike I was able to see so much of this beautiful area, with thoughtful detours to various places on the way. Mike and Josh incredibly frendly and welcoming. Wonderful location - sat in the courtyard in the sun sharing a pot of tea gazing across to the Isle of...

The owner is an entertainer, every day cute entertainment, almost endless helpful, seeks a solution for everything. Takes care - very child friendly. It was a very enjoyable two-night stay for my son and me, in a well equipted comfortable B&B with convenient ambiente. Free wifi. Rich breakfast, priceworthy. We've been sad as we left but definitely will visit again.

Stayed here as it would accomodate a family and our dog and was close to the ferry port in Skye. This is a friendly family run B&B, wasn't ensuite but was fine for the overnight stay that we required. The owner's son recommended a lovely walk up to the viewing point over the Skye bridge which was spectacular.

Situated right before the bridge to Skye - stayed here overnight driving from Edinburg to Portree. Big family room with beds for everyone. Clean and quaint. Mike was a very attentive and chatty host. Great breakfast - full Scottish - freshly cooked and served.
