A lovely start to a fab anniversary holiday. The first impression as we stepped into Mansefield was that is was a very relaxed place to be. The hotel was comfortable, clean and Toby, our host was friendly and full of knowledge, giving us tips on things to do and places to eat. Some of the rooms have a beautiful view...

My wife and I stayed in Mansefield Guesthouse to celebrate my wife's birthday. We have stayed in it many times on our trips to the Highlands of Scotland. Bev and Toby Richardson who are the owners, go out of their way to make all guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The bedrooms are all ensuite, very clean, and the...

What a great place to stay. Bev and Toby were exceptionally welcoming in their home. Rooms were very comfortable. Bev and Toby were a wealth of knowledge on the area and we're happy to share the secrets with us on where to go. Breakfast were super.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The owner was really helpful, and it was nice getting to choose what we wanted for breakfast and what time we wanted to eat the evening before. It was a nice quiet town to go on a walk through. Recommend.

Chose this location to visit nearby Fort William, Glencoe and Glenfinnan. What a gorgeous area! Mansfield Guest House was perfect for our visit. Friendly hosts, loved the the breakfast with the smoked salmon, rooms beautiful, clean, good wifi, and everything we needed.

For a couple of travelling Aussies it was nice to be greeted by another Aussie. The room was very comfortable and clean with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was cooked and plentiful. Would recommend this B & B if travelling to Fort William.

When you checked in you got to choose your breakfast for the morning. The breakfast was the best part of the stay. Its cooked by the owner Toby and the presentation was great too. The room was really small, with not many electric outlet, but the room was clean. They provided good quality towels and linen and the bed was...

Typical British B&B. The bedroom and bath are compact but functional and comfortable, friendly hostess, good breakfast. Very good location on the road to Mallaig. On-site parking. Quiet despite being close to the road. Great restaurant recommendation.

Spent just the one night here but lovely place, really relaxed laid back host, Toby from Australia originally, lovely clean room, massive bed, small but beautiful bathroom . Our room was overlooking the front garden. Breakfast menu offers more than a lot of other B and B's in the area but I had the full cooked breakfast which was excellent,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set in mature gardens with mountain views, Mansefield, a popular guest house in Fort William, lies on the Road to the Isles and only a few hundred metres from the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen Way. Corpach Station is 200 metres away and the local bus stop is directly opposite our house, easy. We have 6 en-suite rooms, including a well sized single room. 3 rooms overlook Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour hills, with views of Ben Nevis and the Grey Corries, whilst the other 3 rooms enjoys beautiful garden views. (Take 5 mins on the window seat and watch the antics of our garden birds!) Guests are welcome to relax in the sitting room overlooking one of our gardens. The Victorian style of the room is emphasized by the log fire, making for a cosy atmosphere during those colder nights we sometimes have here in Scotland! There are many books and magazines to read, in addition to lots of tourist information to help you plan your next day's sightseeing excursions or assault of the "Ben". Our garage can by used to store your bikes, and we have a drying room available for your wet weather gear. ... more   less
