Staff were Friendly and Helpful,Room was spotlessly clean.Food was slightly above average,however Porridge was delicious.Requested a room with a Loch view,which we were given,and views were excellent.Some parts of Hotel require upgrading however overall a very enjoyable stay.
Some parts of the hotel are a little tired but the staff and the breakfast more than make up for it.
The dining room overlooks the loch so the breakfast has a pleasant aspect!

Bus depot is next to train station and complete opposite end of town from Macduff. Bus goes past hotel door. We used the normal commuter train to Mallaig (£11 return) and it also stops at the Glenfinnan tower for photos... More
Bus depot is next to train station and complete opposite end of town from Macduff. Bus goes past hotel door. We used the normal commuter train to Mallaig (£11 return) and it also stops at the Glenfinnan tower for photos. Fish and chips very good in Mallaig station.
