Liz was very welcoming on our arrival, lovely Scottish breakfast, nice quiet location at the end of the road, easy parking, just outside Neptune Staircase. The double room was very clean. The shower cubicle had plenty of room and toiletries.

A lovely BnB with a great view, close enough into town but far out enough to not feel like you're staying in the midst of all the tourists. Rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was tasty and they gave great advice for our days out, eating and the drive to the next location. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to...

When we had to make a short notice change of location whilst touring Scotland on our motorbike last week, we were searching for B&B's with availability for 1 night near Fort William, and I thank my lucky stars that we found Liz and Glenafton here on Trip Advisor and that she had a room for us! And very good value...

Very welcoming hosts, great scottish breakfast, good and clean rooms Good place to stay if you want to go on Ben Nevis or the Glenfinnan Viaduct... On the Top of Ben Nevis, we enjoyed the best muffins, homemade from Martin and Liz.

Back to our default home-from-home in Fort William and pleased to report that very little has changed. Accommodation, breakfast and hospitality all as great as ever - thanks again, we'll no doubt be back soon!

Very knowledgeable hosts and former residents of Aberdeen so we get on well! ;) I had this place for our photographer while being on a pre-wedding shoot trip -- he enjoyed the stay and indeed would like to get back here sometime in the near future. Great for those who want to get to Glenfinnan Viaduct in the morning by...

Spent 2 nights with Liz and Martin who were the perfect hosts. A very relaxed atmosphere which didnt feel like a b&b at all....more like house guests. Great location for getting out and about. Would definitely go back for another visit.

Three of us have over the last 2 years climbed Snowden and Scafell Pike. This year it was the turn of Ben Nevis. When looking for a B&B I stumbled across the Glenafton website and was quite impressed. A short e-mail exchange and a bank transfer later we were booked in. Liz and Martin met us on arrival and showed...

I and a couple of friends stayed here for 3 nights in September 2014. The rooms were clean and very adequate for our (albeit uncomplicated) needs - comfy beds, peaceful at night, and a stonking cooked breakfast in the morning! The railway runs at the foot of the garden, but trains are not frequent and don't run at night and...

We very much enjoyed our stay at Glenafton. Liz and Martin were excellent hosts; very friendly and accommodating. There are only two rooms, we stayed in the twin room which had comfortable beds and exclusive use of a bathroom across the hall; no shower but a large jacuzzi bath with shower attachment. There's a tasty cooked breakfast and the views...
