Was impressed with this hotel, clean, fresh and modern. Our room was small for 3 of us and looked on to rear car parking, but didn't mind as we only slept in room. Had all facilities tea, coffee, TV, hairdryer bath over shower and very clean. Lovely lounge with views over Loch linnhe, nice size bar. Not a big hotel...

Hotel has been upgraded this year workmen were still working when we stayed although it didn't impact on our break . Food was very nice, service was good and staff were friendly . Entertainment was good most nights, hotel was situated facing a loch which was a nice view to wake up to Plenty of places to visit though not...

In a first floor bedroom (revamped?) this visit was a gem from start to finish. The staff are exceptional, with a friendly smile across the board. The room I was in was quiet and lovely. Water was always hot and available. The evening entertainment on the Monday (Ronnie the comedian) and Thursday (country singer Paula MacAskill) were fantastic. Acts are...

Stayed here in 2013 With shearings tours..... The hotel itself is in a beautiful location close to Fort William but the town is run down but don't let that put you off if it's your first time to the Highlands as it is breathtaking..... Back to the hotel..... My room as I entered had a strong smell of mould the...

Although there are many positive points about the hotel, I cannot recommend it. The hotel was not busy, yet we were given room 423 (fourth floor) which was literally vibrating from a constant loud motor-like noise. When I returned to reception I was told it was the kitchen extractor which would stop after evening meal. Needless to say, I requested...

We stayed here last week for 3nights. The hotel is a bit scruffy along the corridors, but they have started revamping lounge areas so presume other areas will follow. We were booked in for bed and breakfast and evening meal for our stay which was done through an offer sight. The price was good so I cannot complain too much,...

If you are a smoker be prepared to get wet and cold as there is no covered area. They do provide some rocketry old umbrellas. Apart from this it is a very nice hotel and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

This was a first for me and my friend and have to say we were impressed with most of our trip. The coach driver Steve was very informative and a great driver...the wait in Normanton was not very nice and the layout of the waiting station is uncomfortable especially for the more elderly and disabled... the coffee was nice though!...

Just done our first coach trip holiday ever, travelled to Fort William with Shearings. along with my friend for a 4 night stay. The journey was quite long and was not helped by the 1 1/2 hour wait at Normanton for our coach exchange, which is not the nicest of waiting rooms, generally not enough seats, could do with more...

Recently stayed in this hotel, with my wife, for four nights, with Shearings. From start to finish we could not fault the experience we had. The room on the ground floor was fresh, clean, warm and comfortable. Views from the hotel were glorious. All the public areas were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self service which suited us entirely. The...

Thank you for taking the time to post your review, it's great to see you enjoyed it so much. As you say Fort William is a lovely spot to spend time, there is so much to see. We will have a look at the tea, see if we can improve it. We look forward to seeing you again.
