I stayed at Braeside House for just one night while travelling to Mallaig to catch the Calmac ferry to the Isle of Eigg. I primarily booked with Aileen and Paul because they were rated as dog friendly, (I had my Border Terrier in tow,) and they were reasonably priced with breakfast included. The first lovely surprise was Aileen waiting for... More

Stayed 5 nights and had a wonderful time (also helped by the weather). Paul and Aileen were excellent hosts and very informative about the local area (and further a field) and recommended some brilliant places to visit (should have stayed longer!) Breakfast excellent as well.

The Braeside House is in the perfect location in Fort William. It is close enough to the center of town to walk easily to restaurants, shopping, and attractions, but far enough from town to be quiet and serene. A delicious breakfast with a wide variety of offerings was served in a wonderful sun room with beautiful views of the loch... More

We stayed here for 2 nights are the end of our roadtrip through Scotland. Paul and Aileen are wonderful hosts. Our room was clean, comfortable and cozy. Breakfast is fabulous. I can especially recommend Paul's pancakes. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Fort William.

Once again we arrived late at night and Paul was waiting to invite us in. He sacrificed a night out with Aileen to be there for us. That is dedication to his customers. The couple are wonderful and nothing is to much trouble, the breaky is very generous and of good quality. The best haggis I have ever tasted. Once... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was first class!! We arrived with our dog and were warmly welcomed by Paul... who our dog took a liking to immediately! We were shown to our warm and modern room with a nice clean ensuite and cute little chocolates on the bed! We had just finished the West Highland Way walk... More

If you want a great B & B to stay at in Fort William, Scotland you can't go passed Braeside House. Run by a lovely couple Paul and Aileen they fall over backwards to make sure you have a great time and are very accommodating. It is up a steep hill about a mile out of the town but there... More

We found Braeside very enjoyable. The location was good for easy access to downtown and the waterfront. The room was very clean, not particularly spacious, but very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent? We found the shower a bit hard to operate. Overall, a safe choice.

Paul and Aileen were terrific hosts and our room was quiet and cozy. Our party had an early departure and we were graciously accommodated with a very early hot breakfast and a drive to the train station. Now that's service above and beyond!
