Room was tiny and dark but very clean with a view of the garden. Food was good and served quickly. Normally on this basis I would give 3-4 stars but please read on. Our room wasn't in the guest house its self but rather in an extension above the garages adjacent to the main house, where there was a lot...

Dear Carrie-Anne Thank you for taking the time to review Guisachan House. It came as rather a shock to read the review, only to find that it relates to a stay you had here eleven months ago! It is a shame that you had a poor experience at Guisachan House as we found the previous owners, Matthew and Edith very...

What a perfect stay we had in Fort William. Perfect because the owners did everything to make our stay as comfortable as it could be. We traveled with a baby of 10 months so the shared living room was great for us! They also had everything we needed for the baby. And to finish it the owner gave us some...

Hi. Thanks for your encouraging words. You were our first family which required the use of our cot! It was a pleasure having you to stay and you are most welcome to come again if you visit Scotland! Kind regards Phill

Very nice place, the owners are very nice and welcoming. The breakfast is fine and both diningroom and common room have great views. The window in our room was facing a wall which was a shame. We only stayed here for one night if you are staying longer the bathroom might be on the small side.

Hi. Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed breakfast. It is unfortunate we can't offer a view for everyone from their room, but I'm sure you'll agree that the lounge and dining room views compensate somewhat! Regards Phill

Stayed here after supporting friend running the West Highland Way Race. Comfortable room and close to town centre, can easily walk to shops/restaurants. The family room also available at good price. Breakfast is standard Scottish breakfast, pretty good although i would prefer to have black puddings rather than haggis. :)

Hi. Thanks for the positive review. Glad you liked the breakfast, and we'll need to review whether we have haggis or black pudding! ;-)

We stayed here as part of a tour package after completing the whw and had stayed at 5 other guest houses over the previous day's so lots to compare. The steps up to the house from the road give the first impression- they're worn and in need of tlc. The welcome was warm but unlike previous guest houses our luggage...

Thanks for your review Paul. As new owners since the end of February we have discovered quite a list of jobs that need doing, including the wall and steps leading to the property. We do endeavour to put luggage into rooms, however sometimes (due to timing of arrival of guests and baggage) it is not always possible. We aren't a...

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Guisachan for 3 nights in total on a recent trip to Scotland. Phil and Carmen are wonderful hosts. The rooms we stayed in were comfortable and very clean. The Breakfast was great and we will come back again whenever we next get to Fort William.

The stay was lovely, relaxing and with a gorgeous view from our room! For breakfast we got all what we wanted. Continental or traditional scottish cooked! Both were delicious. The room was pretty and very clean. Thank you hosts!

We stayed at Guisachan Guest House at the end of our eight day West Highland Way walk, and this was the best welcome that we could have wished for. The couple running the place are an absolute pleasure and they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Also, they make the best Scottish breakfast we found...

We were welcomed by the owners of the B&B on completion of the West Highland Way. They were clearly used to walkers and had everything ready for us for arriveal. We were shown to our twin room with ensuite which had a comfy bed, tea/coffee and plenty of plug points. The location is perfect with the town centre and train...
