Conveniently situated with a lovely view of the river Ness. Room was comfortable with tea and coffee making and shortbread. The shower was good with a whole shelf full of complimentary toiletries. One very annoying thing though was that the toilet lid did not stay up when you sat on the loo - grim! You order breakfast the night before...

Wow, found this b&b through visit Scotland tourist info and it was fantastic. The owner Camilla was so helpful and obliging with our requests even cooking up breakfast for my whole Scotland family of 9. She felt like a friend! The house was lovely and clean, in the best spot to walk to Inverness attractions and yet you had your...

Breakgmfast was good. Beds were good. Upper level rooms were cramped and the bathrooms were extremely small. The third level of the house is impractical for housing guests. Parking is minimal. Right on the waterfront. Across from a beautiful park and the river Ness.

Our family had originally booked at another guest house close by, but they were having some plumbing problems so my two sons stayed at Cavell House. Camilla was wonderful and accommodating. The location is perfect - across from the river and walking distance to everything, the room was lovely, traditionally decorated and clean, and even though I didn't personally stay...

My stay was amazing! No complains at all. Our reception couldn't have been any more welcoming. They made a incredible job making us feel at home even being thousands miles away. Breakfast and rooms were great! Had everything we could have needed.

Don't be put off by the fact that you can't book online for this guest house. It means the prices stay low for a really good guest house. Give her a ring or an email and she's very swift in replying! Camilla and her family make you feel really welcome so I felt right at home and very comfortable. Our...

Camilla and Neil run a friendly, efficient, biker-friendly and quaint guest house. The breakfasts were outstanding with best quality ingredients, plenty of choice and plenty of food. Rooms were clean and decor in keeping with the style and age of the house. Quality toiletries provided. Tunnocks tea-cake fairy visited every day (lovely touch) The garden may be wild but is...

Owner was really nice and helpful, and the breakfast service was good, but the house and garden is really tired and in need of a complete refurb. It has a Scottish Tourist Board 4 star sign, but definitely not up to that level, or anything like it.

Along the shortest river in Scotland the Cavell House is set back from the banks of the Ness River and fifteen minutes walk from down town. The house was built in 1848, something like that and has all the character you can handle. The breakfast included is wonderful with fresh strawberries and other assorted fruit, tea/coffee and a proper eggs,...

Just back from a few days in Inverness, we stayed at the Cavell B&B as it was dog friendly and it certainly was. The B&B is centrally located to the main town and easy walking distance, it is also on the main route down to Dores and Loch Ness and carry on down to Fort Augustus. The house has views...
