Having stayed here In 2007 to attend a wedding I was happy to return. This time with a 16 month old baby I was apprehensive. We had a fantastic stay, the rooms were spotless, I was worried our baby would disturb other guests but he didn't. breakfast was amazing, made fresh to order with lots of choice. Would highly recommend.

From the moment, our party of four working ladies arrived at Abermar, our hosts Allison & James, could not have been more kind. Inviting us to use the Guest lounge was heaven, enabling us to unwind over a glass or two of wine in comfortable surroundings. A true 'home-from-home', and so very much appreciated. My room (11) on the first... More

The house in general is beautiful and clean, and the hosts are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great, and the location in a quiet road with lots of other B&Bs is ideal for going into town. Personally, I had a problem with the single room (#11). The ensuite facility obviously has been installed later, so that the window is... More

This guest house has met all our expectations. It was centrally based, just a few roads away from the city centre. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. We were served generous breakfasts with poached, scrambled or fried eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, baked beans and tomatoes. I cannot leave out the black pudding... More

Abermar is everything I expected it to be, just like I saw it on its website – a beautifully decorated house with a nice small garden, in a green and peaceful neighborhood. Actually it is better, as the host did everything right, friendly, helpful, the room is impeccably clean and every little décor is just at the right place with... More

This was a last minute booking and I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to find a very clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and spacious single room. Shower was great and the owners very helpful and friendly. I don't eat eggs but there was plenty of other things for me to eat and it was a generous breakfast menue for those... More

Great city centre location but yet in a quiet side street. The room was very well decorated and was spotlessly clean. Bed was comfy and the breakfast was superb. Off street parking. Owners were friendly and helpful, can't fault this place.

Very comfortable and warm and well proportioned bed and room, very clean and great shower. Bone china cup and lots of different teas to choose from. Lovely breakfast and hosts. Lives up to its 5* rating.

I spent two nights here, when in Inverness with work... one of many guest houses in the area north of the river. Very good location and easy to walk into the town centre. Comfortable, well-equipped room, comfy bed, spotlessly clean room. Off road parking. Would recommend...
