Very nice welcome, excellent breakfast in lovely period breakfast parlour, average room a bit overdecorated, ensuite bathroom without window. Easy access to city centre, nice restaurants and supermarkets around - and live music places too!

Thank you for your review. We so appreciated your interior design tips. We don't have windows in our en-suite bathrooms to ensure our guests privacy and comfort and to prevent condensation in the cooler months.

Of the various choices I had before booking , I can honestly say that I made the right choice booking Bluebell House. It made our stay visiting the highlands a wonderful experience. I took my mum for her birthday and Bluebell house was immaculately clean with lovely decor. We stayed in the four poster bed , which was the most...

We're also so glad that you chose to stay at our house! We loved having you here and both you and your mum were great company. I hadn't realised that it was your mum's birthday but it's good to know that she had a good time. Thanks for a really lovely review.

Bluebell House was the best place we stayed in Scotland. The proprietors, Neil and Margaret, are lovely people. Attention is paid to every detail and it shows. Our room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was ample and delicious - my husband loved the full Scottish breakfast, and I thought the smoked salmon and eggs were divine. Neil was...

inverness is the perfect spot from which to visit Loch Ness and the Highlands and staying at Bluebell House with Neil and Margaret will provide a spotless, comfortable and welcome lodging. We stayed for three nights with our two teenage sons, and we all had a great stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and Neil gave us great tips on...

Spent 4 nights at the Bluebell and can't say enough good things about it! Great breakfasts, made to order, Neil and Margaret are wonderful hosts, full of information about Inverness! I hope to get back there sometime…each B&B my sister and I stayed at this trip just got better and better! Not sure if this is a romantic B&B as...

That was just a lovely review that you wrote for us. Thank you so much! As always, we're delighted when our guests tell us that they've had such a good time. While I realise that you were travelling with your sister and so perhaps unlikely to fully appreciate the 'romantic' potential of our B&B, I'm glad that you could see...

My daughter and I stayed for a night in May and thoroughly enjoyed our room as well as our delicious Scottish breakfast. But I really appreciate the extra mile that co-owner Margaret went by helping us out when we arrived too late in the day to avail of any of the tours to Urquhart Castle. I asked about taxi service...

Margaret and Neil are wonderful hosts, providing a very comfortable place to rest after a hard day exploring. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and really sets you up for the day! The B&B was easy to find (we were travelling by car) and is very close to Inverness town centre, an easy stroll to the bridges. The rooms with ensuite were...

A very warm welcome and full of helpful information. Good location near town with an excellent car park - a good base for exploring Inverness. Very good breakfast, We'd certainly go back. No cards, including debit, was a minor irritation.

We stayed at the Bluebell House for 2 nights mid-way through our 2-week trek around Scotland, visiting from the US. The home is beautifully decorated with antiques, etc while facilities were very clean and modernly equipped. Neil and Margaret were warmly welcoming, full of information, and provided a Scottish breakfast 2nd to none. The car parking area in the rear...

We loved our brief stay at Bluebell House. The facilities are simply beautiful, the breakfast was great, and our hosts were fun and helpful. The location could not have been more convenient, and the car park in back was an unexpected plus. If we ever get to Inverness again, this will be our destination.
