Lovely house, gracious hosts, very convenient location! Quiet house. Hosts very knowledgeable about places to eat and have laundry done. Gave us a city map and easy directions to one of the best meals we had in Scotland. Nice breakfast too!

Pro: It was like "home away from home". Elizabeth and John are very welcoming, accommodating and will do everything possible to help sort things out, should you have a problem or a simple question. They are very easy to engage in a chat, knowledgeable and well connected in the community, so really know their way around. The "to order" breakfasts...

This is a lovely home-away-from-home. John and Elizabeth are gracious hosts: they accommodated my travel schedule, put on a remarkable breakfast, gave excellent restaurant recommendations and are simply fun to talk with. And Ardconnel House is so centrally located - 5 or 10 minutes walk from both train and bus stations - that it was easy to use Scotland's reliable...

Felt very welcomed by the hosts and enjoyed all aspects of my stay. The single room was comfortable and well-appointed, with a very large bathroom. The cook-to-order breakfast and buffet selections were a great start to the day. The location is up something of a hill but very close to city center and plenty of restaurants.

Exceptional in every way! The most enjoyable place to stay. Lovely home down to the tiniest detail. Liz and John are warm, gracious and very helpful hosts. The lounge was comfortable and a great place to make new friends. A hot cooked to order breakfast was the best way to start the day in the relaxing dining area. The rooms...

Spotlessly clean. Good breakfast (especially the fruit salad). Most of all, John and Elizabeth were delightful hosts - friendly, helpful and informative. Great location in the centre of town with street parking easy to find.

We last came to Inverness 12 years ago and stayed in the Ardconnel House B&B. We chose it for our stay again this year. We were glad the John and Elizabeth are still running it. They are helpful, welcoming hosts. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The B&B is very close to downtown Inverness, only across the street, down a...

The Ardconnel itself is everything other people have said, comfortable, clean, great breakfast, etc., but the hosts, John and Elizabeth really make it enjoyable, special. We stayed 2 nights. John and Elizabeth were fun to talk with and provide great advice on restaurants, sites and driving. We hope to return. Our favorite thing in the area was the Culloden Battlefield....
