The company I work for booked me into this place for 4 nights after I had a quick look at their website. The experience started when I tried to enter Ardross Terrace in my sat-nav. There is only Street or Place. Their website states 'parking close by at 50p per hour'. I eventually found a parking bay 3 streets away...

The good points about the Winston Guest House are the breakfast room that is well run by the owner and a very good breakfast is supplied in a quick and efficient manner. The appearance of the hotel is good and welcoming. What was very disappointing was the room that we stayed in. Very small and cramped and the bed was...

This Guest House is in the perfect location for seeing all that Inverness has to offer. Located beside the River Ness opposite Inverness Castle on the hill which makes for an enchanting view in the evening if you're fortunate to have a river view room as we had. There is no lift as has previously been stated, but that's what...

I stayed here two nights and although my room only had a view of another side of the guest house, I was very comfortable but thought it was expensive for a small town. Being an old house, there was no elevator but the manager was kind enough to assist me with getting luggage upstairs. I loved the city as it...

We were place in their Annexe which may have influenced my view of the guest house as I was expecting to stay in the main house. The staff were lovely and helpful. The bed & room were small. Breakfast was fine and one morning they got us a very early breakfast 6.30am. The toilet in one of the 2 rooms...

Don't be fooled by first impressions. I didn't catch the name of the owners so I will refer to them as he and she. At first everything was fine. When we got back from our night out the tv wouldn't work the kettle wouldn't work and the alarm clock wouldn't work. On closer inspection all the plugs where not working....

Very nice guest house, close to the town centre but in a quiet street with great views over the river to the castle. When we arrived they didn't have a twin room so gave us two singles (actually double beds) at no extra charge, which was a nice touch, as was their willingness to store our packs while we went...

This was a nice place to stay, right on the other side of the Ness river and less than 3 blocks from the TI. (About 8 from the train station.) Good breakfast and nice employees. We were in an attic room which was fine, but a LOT of steps if one has a bad knee. Great view out our windows...

We stayed three nights in this fabulous Mansion which is located in the best spot possible for a guesthouse. It's next to lovely restaurants and on the opposite of the castle. We overlooked the castle, we had a comfy bed. Bathroom was a bit outdated but I don't care if youre in the middle of a city. Inverness is a...

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in May 2014. A beautiful hotel facing the water front. When we lost our way in Inverness before checking in at the hotel due to numerous one ways and called the manager of the hotel, she was very helpful in directing us to the hotel and in fact was waiting in front...
