This Travelodge and the other Travelodge in the centre of Inverness have had recent refurbishment which make for a very pleasant stay at a very keen cost. I have absolutely nothing to say negative about my 4 night stay. It is not 5 star but you ge a very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated room for a fraction of the cost charged elsewhere.

Warm welcome from staff explained everything to us and if we needed anything to come to desk room was warm and clean plenty hot water it was very peaceful and no noise

Stayed between 28/12/23-02/01/24, we had room 307, 2 females and a large dog, bed high but comfy, shower best I’ve had in a travelodge, was only 1 towel but when asked they had no problem with giving an extra 3 and apologised for having only 1, this room is at the back of a small block, and having a dog there was a very large field out of the back that goes beyond the trees so able to let him off in the morning! This travelodge has to be the most quiet and cleanest I’ve staying in! Staff are extremely helpful and nothing seems an issue! All guests very respectful especially seeing as it was also new year!

The room was good. But we had a problem where there was no water pressure in the wash sink in the bathroom. The water was literally dripping and we couldn't do any basis hygiene activities like shaving, brushing teeth, etc. I reported the problem to the reception who said that literally nothing could be done. There weren't any more rooms available to replace and the maintenance person was not available until next day to fix the problem (ours was just 1 night stay and there is no point in waiting for next day). Therefore we had to put up with this broken tap and do brushing and shaving in the bath (not a good experience at all). I asked for some compensation but was told to contact customer service (still have not done it). Overall, as long as you have no issues in the room you will be fine but if you do have issues, it will be very difficult to get it fixed.

+ve Great members of staff. Very welcoming. Comfortable bed.
-ve soap dispensers are now filled with very watery substances... cheap washing up liquid would have more washing power. The bedding smelt of stale cigarettes. As the rooms can't be smoked in due to detectors, it's either a smoking area where they are dried or the washing substance that's used. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work either.

I stayed at this Travelodge due to accommodation logistics in the family home over Christmas. It was pleasant and comfortable, and whenever there were cleaning staff servicing other rooms, they were polite. The only drawback was that even though I ordered early check in, I still had to phone a member of staff before she came to reception. One suggestion could be to have a low charge for early check in such as £4 rather than £10. Otherwise, Thanks for the good stay.

I cannot believe after a smooth check-in I had to go to the front desk several times for towels, liquid soap that combines for both body and hair.The soap smells similar to detergent. The faucet stopper jammed needed cleaning. The room sure smells dog checked in before us.

Getting to the fairways was not an issue and quite direct after pulling off the A9. We booked in Sunday afternoon at 3pm. The blond lady on reception made it quick and painless and soon issued us with two key cards and room allocation. 😊
Room was very clean and tidy. A single electric heater provided an ideal temperature. We noticed and used the usb sockets that were by each side of the bed and near the tv.
The bedding was lovely and clean and the bed afforded a good night's sleep. 😊👍
Alas we noticed we only had one bath towel. As we went out, I happened to mention it to the lady on reception and said I would pick it up when we returned later that evening. It was a nice surprise to return to the room having forgotten the towel to discover the missing towel had been replaced. 😊
Later that evening I nipped down to reception to borrow a hairdryer and again it was lovely and clean and worked a treat
It just highlighted how hard the staff worked, just as the room cleaning ladies all spoke as did the lady cleaning the stairwell and said good afternoon or good morning with a smile. Simple things like that make a stay really enjoyable and makes you feel welcome and valued, not just a nameless customer. 😊👍👍
Parking outside the travelodge was easy, plenty of available spaces Inc disabled spots with room to get in/ out of the car doors.
A five star experience made so by hardworking staff and room which was ideal for our 1 night stay.

We have stayed here due to us loosing our home in a house fire . Devastated as we were and still are the staff in this hotel have been amazing . Nothing is too much trouble they take time out to welcome you and speak to you so so friendly.
Cleaning standards are second to none 1 st class comes to mind always come back to our room cleaned smelling fresh and looking fresh

the hotel is next to a golf club with all its facilities, there is also an indoor bowling green on site along with a go kart track. the restaurant attached to the golf course serves excellent food at competitive rate but be aware the portions are on the large size. there is also a pizzaria ladies & gents hair dressers the rooms in the hotel (stayed in the annexe ground floor) are reasonable size but there is no air conditioning, heating is a wall panel heater, the room was clean with a small kettle & tea coffee etc, it got rather stuffy in the room and the panel heater is a little difficult to control with the only ventilation being the windows, unfortunately the go kart track is rather close & noisy during the early part of the evening, it is about 3 miles to the centre of Inverness all in all reasonable accommodation at a reasonable price, there is also a 24 Asda with auto self serve fuel Pumps (card only)
