We had a lovely dinner here. We were surprised by the menu a bit as it had burgers and fish and chips, we were expecting fine dining however the menu undersells itself. The presentation is excellent. The salmon with langostine sauce was so delicious. The staff were superb , attentive but discreet. The surroundings are also pleasant. We would come again.

Our favourite restaurant to eat in inverness!!! Myself partner & 2 children had the most amazing meal here on Hogmanay and have eaten here many times before. Leaving a review now as I was blown away at our last meal. The service is outstanding the staff cannot do enough. They always accommodate our children (10&6) and we don’t feel unwelcome as we take the children we are always greeted with a smile. The 8 course meal on Hogmanay was nothing but 110% fantastic service the tastiest food and I loved the balloons decorating the restaurant it was a nice touch. We will definitely be eating here again. Thank you to all.

Superb stay at the Rocpool again, complimentary upgrade, friendly, personal service. Suite was stunning. Breakfast was superb and delivered to suite at no extra cost. The bar is lovely and cocktails were good. This was our 2nd stay and will def be back.

Stayed here one night and wished it had been longer, we had a very warm welcome, beautiful room, everything was so clean and great breakfast. The staff were so polite and helpful which made it such a great experience. Would definitely come back again

We always try and visit an afternoon tea wherever we go and this didn’t disappoint. Amazing selection of cakes and the sandwiches and scone were also lovely. A must if you are visiting Inverness and especially if you are a lover of afternoon tea

Tim and I went to rocpool reserve restaurant in error, I was supposed to have booked rocpool on Ness walk. What a happy accident! The reason it was quiet was our mouths were totally engrossed with flavours. The restaurant was busy but not overwhelming or intrusive. The staff were courteous friendly and highly versed in fine dining . Gabriel hit exactly the right balance of professionalism and friendly ness making us feel welcome and valued as did all the staff. The food was amazing blowing Abstract and Contrast (acclaimed eateries) out of the water with considered flavour combinations, perfectly cooked and presented like works of art. High praise from serial diners. You may have ruined other restaurants for us.... Karen Henderson.

We stayed here three nights and were very pleased with all aspects of the hotel. The staff were super attentive, particularly the two managers, Gabriel being one, who would greet you in the car park upon arrival at the beginning of your stay and upon returning after a day out. The restaurant food whether for dinner or breakfast is excellent as is the bar for a more casual dinner. The wait staff are very pleasant and well schooled in customer service. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Inverness.

My vegetarian friend and I went for lunch and drinks in the cocktail bar. We wanted a different experience than just going for lunch. VERY disappointed ! My friend ended up having lettuce and parmesan for lunch (vegetarian salad). We were asked to pay cash as card machine wasn’t working neither had cash so had to leave credit card details. They took payment 3 weeks later following our visit without any communication or furnishing us with a bill. They took the full amount (Parmesan and lettuce salad) despite my 2 emails explaining our issues. I am still awaiting a response 4 weeks later and a detailed receipt of our bill. Customer service very poor, would not recommend, would not return.

Dear Guest, I was sorry to read that you viewed your experience at Rocpool Reserve in such a negative light. Our aim is always to ensure our guests leave with their expectations exceeded and I am sorry that we missed the mark on this occasion. My apologies also that your friend was not satisfied with the offering for lunch, we do offer a number of vegetarian options and our Chef is always happy to provide extra alternatives. I am sorry if this was not communicated to you and I will investigate why. Regarding our card machine not working, I am sorry, this was an unforeseen circumstance and I do understand the inconvenience. I believe you were furnished with a bill upon your departure, but that you did not receive a copy of the card payment receipt I can only apologise and if you would like to contact the hotel with your details, then I can arrange to have a copy of the receipt sent out to you. All in all, it seems like you have not been left with a great impression of us and this is something I would dearly like to rectify. I would love the opportunity to welcome you to Rocpool Reserve again to give you the experience that you had initially hoped for. We had a 3 night stay here, exploring Inverness. What a fabulous welcome Gabriel gave us when we arrived. We had a ‘Decadent’ room, really comfortable and a fabulous bathroom and bath that we really enjoyed. We loved this smaller hotel, it was friendly and the staff could really look after us. We ate every night in the hotel, which has a super lovely restaurant and bar, great atmosphere, lovely decor and some of the best food we have had - seriously amazing chef, he should have a Michelin star he is that good. We had an amazing stay, and can’t thank Gabriel, Daniel, Sonja and Honor enough.
