I had no idea hostels could be this organised. Place was neat and clean, staff were friendly and helpful and Inverness is just an amazing experience. The hostel is situated ideally close to the train station and close to all big shops in town. Met great travellers at the hostel!

I was staying there on April 3 with three friends, and we woke up to a room filled with smoke at 5am. The fire alarms didn't go off, and it was us who called the police and the fire brigade. Luckily, no one was injured, but we lost all our belongings, and now, more than two months later, still have...

I stayed in this hostel just for a couple of days. The entrance is narrow and you have to go upstair by some stairway, also these very narrow. The building is very old. The guy at the reception seemed like if he wanted to stay in another place at that moment, So, no smile. In a hostel, i aspect the...

After completing great glen way we wanted somewhere to lay our heads but should have read reviews first, this was not only unhygienic but un safe as one of the top bunks was supported with a bit of pipe ,sink in room never drained away ,noise from street was unbelievable especially in morning when a market was being set up ,toilets...

Very average hostel but in comparison to cost it is good value for money. Kitchen was there but not very busy and untidy. Bathrooms and Toilets are ok. I would advice if you want to save some money then you can go to this hostel.

Horrible nasty odour on entering apartment - basic is an understatement. Shared living areas - makes student accommodation look luxurious Tried to find another option in area on arrival but no room anywhere in town. Would advise never to stay here!! Shower room was black and mouldly - no one braved it. Safer option was the wet wipes!!! Last resort!!

In an old house centrally located in Inverness this Hostel. It seemed that someone had the ambition to make this a nice place. But today it was just ugly worn and dirty. The staff seemed indolent, rather than to ensure that it worked, kitchen was a mess. The only breakfast was available was tea bags and instent coffe. Hardly worth...

Don' t know why everyone has to complain this much about this place, we slept in a twin room and found nothing to complain about. The place didn't stink as some reviews say, the staff was helpful and not rude at all, rooms and toilets were fairly clean, there was no noise to disturb us. The WiFi worked well too....

My mum booked us to stay in this hostel for a cheap place to stay in Inverness as we had a very early coach home and needed to stay over. We had looked at the reviews on here and were trying to be positive about it, and that it might just be down to taste and expectation. This could not...

I drive to Inverness on a daily basis and it is a 120 mile round trip. I have been looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights a week and ended up at this hostel. It is, unarguably, the cheapest place to stay in Inverness but it is NOT a nice place and you will leave Inverness...
