Brilliant location and really comfortable room. Two slight criticisms, first was the lack of usable space.Luck of the room i'm sure. The other was the background music in the bar area was a bit loud. Having stayed at many hotels and B&B's in the past I do think £14.95 is beyond anything reasonable. We chose not to have breakfast and... More

Spent one night in a beautiful, modern room with a view over the river. The place was quiet enough, although quite centrally located. The staff were very friendly. The hotel has a good bar with live music.

A group of 6 of us had a lovely meal at the Glenmoriston restaurant. Two of the group were staying at the hotel for the weekend so we decided to stay for dinner as it's a lovely location beside the River Ness that is a short walk from the town centre. The hotel itself has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with... More

Stayed one night in Sept to begin a canal cruise and then two further nights a week later at the end of the cruise. This hotel thinks it’s better than it is. For the prices it leaves a bit of a bad taste. Reception needs to be a bit more welcoming too. First room had many cracked and broken tiles... More

We stayed in the Glenmoriston Town house at the beginning of October for 5 nights. For the price we paid (£154 per night) I was expecting a decent size room, but the room we got was rather small with too much furniture in it which meant you couldn't open the wardrobe fully to get to your clothes as there was... Own car park. Situated next to the river and an easy 10 minute walk into the town. During a week of one night hotel stops, this was our best stay. Room was lovely and clean. Plenty of toiletries, dressing gown. We stayed in room 10 which had river view. We were lucky with the weather and sat on one of... More

The location of this hotel was great - it was just a short walk into town. The view of the river from our room was amazing. The bartender in the lounge was very knowledgeable about both whiskeys and local beers. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of food items to choose from (including a hot made to order... I booked this hotel mainly for the location which was perfect as I was running the Loch Ness marathon and the finish was a short walk away. Our flight was an early one so on arrival at the hotel we was not expecting our room to be ready we just dropped our bags and off we went to register for... More

Throughout our stay the staff were outstandingly helpful, the rooms were very modern and thoughtfully laid out, plus the hotel overlooks the river near the town center. The restaurant is also a clear cut above the norm, serving excellent food, together with a decent wine list. We will be back.
