Owners very friendly & helpful, gave info on how to get into town quickly & suggestions for our trip on the North Coast 500, main one being fill up before you need to & some of the more remote places do prepay cards for petrol pumps. Easy off road parking. Only took a few minutes to get into town on...

Peter runs a very comfortable B and B. He is friendly, a fine cook, keeps the place spotless and has added touches like an extra heater in your room should the weather be cool. His location is absolutely perfect. You can walk into town along a lovely riverside path and Peter was very knowledgeable about restaurants in the area and...

We often book b&bs in preference to hotels because of the homely atmosphere and good value. The Heathcote did not disappoint. Nice room with a very comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and a well cooked breakfast each morning. A nice touch was the provision of an extra plug in radiator if needed as the weather was still quite chilly. We...

Room and facilities very clean, owners friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely, and well-cooked. Good value for money, would go back. We walked from the centre of town - quite a way but a pleasant walk.

Last minute decision to visit Inverness and booked the Heathcote instead of a hotel. What a great find and I'll be back. Comfy night in a super king size bed and ensuite followed by a fantastic brekkie. Lovely owners who cared about their guests. This is only a 15 minute stroll into the city centre.

We were made to feel very welcome and the hosts were keen to offer suggestions for things to do and places to visit/eat out.The house has a separate entrance for guests and breakfast is served in a cosy annexe. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Might be nice if a vegetarian option if hot breakfast was available. The rooms were lovely...

Used this B&B because it was close to the Highland Council building. The room was lovely - as good as many higher end hotels. The bed was very comfy and unusually I slept very well. The welcome was friendly and the breakfast first rate. I thought it was really good value and a bit of a hidden gem. The walk...

Stayed at the Heathcote for one night, before we travelled up to Oban. The room was spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed. The shower cubical was a nice size, but the shower lacked a little power. Breakfast was cooked beautiful with one of the best scrambled eggs I've had in a hotel, sadly just not enough. Pros Large Comfortable Room...
