Nice B&B in a good location. We ended up in a room with twin beds and a detached private bathroom. Clean hotel in a good location. Very friendly host that was helpful with ideas about local restaurants. We ate at a restaurant called Number 27 which was very good. Short walk from B&B over a suspension bridge across River Ness.... We were visiting inverness for a family wedding and we're let down at the last minute on our accommodation. I called this bed and breakfast and took us in straight away, room was clean and the staff were very friendly, location could not be any better as a 5 minute walk from the town centre. Also a cracking breakfast in the morning... More

Amazing and helpful host, walking distance from main streets. You just have to cross a beautiful bridge over the river. Cozy, comfortable and up to the mark. Breakfast of choice and on time. Will definitely re-book and recommend to others.

Me and my friend stayed here for only one night. It was a stop on our way to Edinburgh to fly home. We had to leave early the next morning and Ann very kindly offered to make a packed breakfast for us which was very nice of her. She was so nice and made us feel very welcome. The room... More

Great place to stay, very welcoming by Anne(lovely lady couldn't do enough for us). Very well situated, everything within walking distance to main part of Inverness. Rooms very comfortable, clean tidy, looks newly renovated. Gardens are well maintained. Nice breakfast, cooked by Anne, nothing was too much trouble.

The good parts: The room was nice and clean, bathroom too. Breakfast was good too. Now the bad parts: I arrived at 14:10 (10 min after checkin time) and no one was in the lodge, that's right, I kept ringing the bell and no one answered! I standed there for 30 min until the owners of the b&b next door... More

i am sorry you had a bad experience.. but in fairness, you did not give any indication of time of arrival, and you must remember this is a guest house not a hotel.. yes in a hotel there is someone there 24/7, but i run the guest house by myself and do have to go out sometimes, there is laundry,... We spend a couple of nights at the Hawthorn Lodge and it was fine. It is located in a street full of near-identical B&Bs, all readily accessible to the CBD over a footbridge and I expect they would have been fine, too. Our hostess Ann was effusive and helpful. Everything was a bit of a tight squeeze, from the carpark... More

Really nice B&B, seemed unique and our room had a sink in it which was convenient, only negative I had for here was the shower seemed weak. But the style was just lovely, I really liked the shape of the ceiling and personal touch. The owner was nice and kept it running like clockwork, dropping a text to ask when... More

Only stayed here one night but it seemed like a pretty good option. Small room but had everything we needed. Close to the main town center and river. Breakfast was decent. No complaints overall. Convenient parking right next door.
